^ this. The Smoak hate is unwarranted over K's considering Cola's K rate is the same and he benefits from a BABIP # that I don't think is real. He can go the other way on the ground which Smoak never seems to be able to do. Cola in today against Hamels is the right call even though we lose some on D.

Cola and Smoak - no big diff and Smoak better D. Their K rate is the same and Smoak walks more. Cola's numbers have been regressing as expected. Smoak had a brutal game @ the plate Thursday so some people lost it. Facing a LHP Cola should be the right call today.

I've been at his last 2 starts and neither was very good. But I still give him the ball because he is a bona fide ace and has the stuff to turn a bad streak into a no hitter/shutout in one game. He is David Price.

Johnny Cash is just a legend....his stuff goes with anything. Never gets old. Well...it does get old, but its still great! NHL used his song "I Wont Back Down" to promote their season a few years ago. It worked.

Me neither. Up at 4am for an 8:15 flight from Calgary chugging coffee. My bud from Yukon took a red eye from Van and texted me he is there in TOR now. Don't want a let down. I just want them to show up - bring the lumber and play solid D. Its a 5 gm series so anything can happen.
