Hendriks has had very few blow-ups (less than Sanchez proportionate to use). Lowe has had two but been very good. To me these guys are above Sanchez in high leverage. Yesterday was classic Sanchez against LHH. In the blink of an eye a hit and a BB. I like his arm but I don't like the Gibbyaffair with him and think he used incorrectly sometimes. I hope that doesn't continue.

Ya, and I was worried about him but my god he was good. Jesus. His Ks came on the slider. Both Martin and Navvy did a good job catching him and he the spots.

Maybe I missed some comments from Dyson but I didn't think his comments were too over the top. However, its easy to cherry pick the other team's reactions when you just give up a bomb. Nobody made him the sheriff for "respecting the game". Jose's pimping was all about the moment....defiance in the face of another bizarre call that just went against them etc. It was a monster shot in a huge spot in the spotlight in a crazy game. He took it personally and I cant say I would like it either. His actions with Tulo he makes out to be good sportsmanship based. Tulo is an amped up competitive warrior in the midst of a heated game and Dyson just caused a walk off beaking off about Jose. There was no need to touch him and do that regardless. It was a provocative act in that moment. Amazing game....the Rangers are licking their wounds so I cut him some slack. This is a team that had a WS ring locked up against the Cards who were down to their last strike 6 times, and let it slip away and now this. Its got to sting.

Zobrist is a very good player and like Gardner is one of those guys we struggle to get out. Just have to limit the damage. We will have some guys get hot against them too. -
In all the drama Gibby's move to pinch run Pompey and take Martin out of the game (never easy) was big. Martin may not have had the speed to get home in time to take out the catcher before he doubled off Revere with the bases loaded. That would have been a huge buzz kill.

Im in Vancouver for meetings. Wanted to go back to TOR for Game 5 but no chance. Stuck in hotel room watching today. My 7 year old was watching in Calgary and called me absolutely stoked asking "who do we play next Daddy!!!?". We have been going to games since he was 4 and Jose has always been his favourite player. He is good to go for the next enemy to vanquish lol

Watching the game replay. Makes me remember how big that bogus 3rd strike call was on Tulo. LOW! Could have been so huge along with Martin play. But Jose and Edwin wouldn't let that happen....and Elvis....cant forget Elvis. He has now left the building.

Very sorry for your loss Leaffie. Amazing story. You are a great poster and a great fan. Im sure your husband was with you in spirit today. I lost one of my best friends to liver cancer at 52 and his last words to me in August were "the Jays are going to win the World Series" and I was thinking of him this afternoon too. -
That sucks beyond words hombre. Sorry. Well at least we won!!! Get to the next games cause now...there is going to be more!

For years I have read and heard s*** about Jose isn't a winner....he isn't clutch or a leader. Whatever happens in this game fans should remember what he just did at the plate bringing the house down.
