I like dark roast too, and as strong as it can be made. Has to be fresh. Have become a coffee snob. Used to use 50/50 cream. Then I shifted to whole milk and am now weening off that to black. It's going better now. Just took a couple weeks to get off the dairy. Sometimes I put a little coconut oil in it. Trainer told me it's supposed to be healthy. No idea if it is.

We were both at those games That last home stand against TB was incredible. It kicked off with both Price and Archer getting lit up and ended the 3 games with a JD walk off under a bright blue fall sky. That was sooooooo fun. -

lol. I thought same....then I thought it was 29 per AAV and spit my coffee out. Deal seems a bit high this year and ok depending on how 2016 goes. I like the cost certainty so we can make JB/EE decisions with information, and it avoids what can be a scar leaving arb process. Ok with it. -

Unless something dramatically changes on a major injury front or the world economy collapses, the FA signing comps don't remotely come close to this AAV for Jose. Its way low. The term is likely. -

I don't read much into these comments. Its what they all say and have to unless things have gone seriously south in the relationship...which is not the case here. It seems opinions on trying to sign neither, one or both of these guys (and if one which one) are evolving OTB as the team's situation evolves. I like them both but understand the parameters Shapiro is working with. Just going to put my faith in people I'm hoping are a lot smarter than us to make the right personnel business calls here for the health of the org. -

I know. Long ago me too. I grew up worshipping Bobby Orr and the Bruins in NS. Loved the cold war battles with the hated but talented USSR. Then I started mixing in the Expos and the Jays. I'm more ball now than hockey. Although when my Bruins finally beat the Canucks for the Cup I was pretty stoked.

I remember him in the Canada Cups and best on best tourneys. He was always blazing around getting tons of opps but totally snake bit. Consistent sniper. One thing to have speed but another to convert it to production like he did. I have not been following NHL all star stuff much as its lost my interest but honestly I would have thought his record was broken ages ago with the pace of today's NHL and full inclusion of Europeans.

Agree that it's not crazy. As far as FA WAR/$ they will be good value, or at least a good probability risk. The issue is the total cost of arbitration, other big ticket players and depth signings. We are likely to lose Cecil in 2017 and if Hutch does have a good season he is getting a big arb raise. We need younger cheaper players like Travis and Pompey to contribute giving him more budget flex. If mgm feel they can move Tulo in 2017 (if he agrees) the math makes more sense for resigning one or both of them. It's all about the budget Rogers gives him.
