    This is what pisses me off so badly about not using the Ceciliani or Pompey options. We have already seen Saunders miss a game and Pillar mashing a wall which eventually is going to cost him playing time. 2-3 W/L and playing against a team we have to beat. We have 2 likely short starts the next 2 days and Gibby tore through the pen in last nights game. So today we play a scrub in LF? There is just no need of it. We need to put our best options on the field every game in a "win" year.

    I know. It makes you shake your head. these guys played the game at the highest level. So one should assume they have incredible insight we all don't have on the game. But we hear these hollow empty statements with endless angel food cake platitudes. Is it that they just feel the need to fill airtime?

    Happy Kevin Pillar BB day is today boys and girls. He BBs 4% of his PAs, so in Game 6 we will become overdue for this rare event to occur.

    He was so dominant 2nd half last year we probably have unrealistic expectations. We need him badly to get it rolling.

    His breaking ball doesn't have the bite it did 2nd half 2015 yet. V on his FB is down a tad. Just not sharp. I don't know if it's personal reasons. Last year he had a rough start too, but he was hurt in spring training.

    Its is strange to see Stro fighting his command like this. Just doesn't have his best right now. But he has enough pitches to hang in there and battle. Love it.

    Fans ramped up for another year. nice to see. We used to have that feeling of the stadium full for the 1st home game....and maybe the first weekend. Downhill from there. Is Bell the most successful Rule 5 selection ever?
