  1. You are getting f***ed Osuna but still getting it done. One more!
  2. He is K'ing at a 30% rate. He just isn't laying off balls out of the zone like he does when he is really on.
  3. No he didn't. Maddux didn't really need to either. But at this point anyway, Stro isn't them. I agree that's why its down on avg. That was my point. His 2S FB V has been pretty consistent since 2014.
  4. We know. If he wants to become a #1 SP he needs to be able to go upstairs with more V from time to time and get swing and misses. His Avg FB is down 1.5 MPH from 2014. Just my 2 cents.
  5. This. Everything low and mostly away. Change the eye angle.
  6. LOL....that is true. Statistically, there is a direct correlation between thank rates and abject elation. I'm so used to seeing Atothe post things similar to "shut up" that I didn't notice it right away...but it was well timed, appropriate and succinct.
  7. I am so stoked for this game. I don't know why. Maybe because I hate the O's so much. BTW...Anyone hear how Travis' BP session went? No pain? Mgm still talking July for a return.
  8. Its up there but I think Governator's Jays Win meme of the dancer in blue jay's tighties when we won Game 5 against Tex may be the all time leader.
  9. He used it more in 2014. I remember him touching 96 a few times. Fangraphs shows he is down 1.5 mph in avg FB V. With everything down with him, you would think using it upstairs would get him some K's. He must just be feeling comfortable and not wanting to use it.
  10. lol. Fair enough. I honestly had no idea the kid could be this at the time of the deal. His stuff is just so ridiculously filthy. A SP touching 101 with that breaking ball. Thor could match RA's total WAR here in one season @500k per. Insult to injury has been the early going where Wright is even pitching better than RA. Lots of movement, but he just doesn't have it going early on.
  11. Watching him pitch is hard. But I try to think about our steals off of the A's, PITT and CINN for our big 3 who are giving us a ton of under market WAR and some great moments over the last few years. Glass half full.
  12. Stop forwarding your meme feed from 02 and you might do better.
  13. Tulo's BB with bases drunk today was the first run Kimbrel ever walked in. That's crazy. Tide is turnin' my friend.
  14. Yes, they were both good. Agree Martin's AB was better. I was speaking for Tulo individually as a hitter, who has mostly been lost. Also nice to see Cecil being Cecil although LHH aren't offering at the hook as easily as last season yet. Just not quite got the late bite yet. Its comin' That was a big W even though early in season.
  15. Oh man....phew. Great W after fighting through the adversity of those DPs and Martin's AB was awesome. I'm callin' it...Tulo's based juiced BB off Kimbrel is his turning point. Back in business birds.
  16. What a job by Happ. We can so still win this one. Lets go Birds!
  17. We set the MLB record for K's in the 1st 13 games. 4 DPs today. Reminds of that movie "MISERY" with Kathy Bates/James Caan. This is what you call a "bad patch" and will pass. Just wish it wasn't against the BoSox head to head.
  18. ...and every time Buck slurs his name out in that unique Latin dialect I cringe.
  19. Zeke: Cant hit Cant throw Poor routes Cant steal No pop Marginal drag bunter Doesn't BB much WTF is he doing on our roster when we have better choices in a win season?
  20. My god Tulo> Reyes on D. Props to him for not letting his offense affect his D this season.
  21. I agree with this. I don't give a f*** about where the line is supposed to begin and end on these decisions. At the end of the day the buck stops with him. Personally I think Gibby is a nice man - very loyal - so he will always defer to Cola and Carerra. This is 2016 and that emotion has to be kept out of roster decisions.
  22. here we are in a win season and playing that fuking scrub Carerra as much as we are. Absolutely clueless. f***ed another inning up.
  23. This one time....at band camp...lots of people on this board said the 4th OF on the team will get enough ABS through days off and injuries to avoid much rust and to provide a positive incremental Win delta. And according to Tabby Gibby said "Carerra did some good things for us last year" which trumps all. So sick of Zeke already. Let's go Jays! Get the split.
  24. They moved quicker on Pillar LO than I thought. They do this; dump Zeke for Ceciliani and i'm good. Nothing to bitch about, unless of course Gibby pulls another high leverage Leon ish move.
