    One has to remember Blair is a lifetime reporter who looks like he is going to fall over of a heart attack any second, and Barker tries desperately to relate his 320 lifetime MLB PAs to whats happening currently with the Jays. To put that in perspective Cola has had more. That's not to say that ex-players who didn't have MLB success cant be very solid baseball minds(many are), but Barker has a credibility and content issue. "It is what it is" as he always says.

    Exactly. How hard can it be to make that kind of deal? Lol. Don't look now but Lawrie may have found a home. wRC+ 150. Mind you he has a Cola "ish" BABIP at the moment. I hope it works out for him. I actually liked Lawrie.

    Caught a bit of Jays Talk in the backyard yesterday. One genius caller recommended we trade Tulo and a pitching prospect for Bryce Harper to shake things up. I spit out my coffee and had a good laugh.

    Meh. I doubt it. That was last year. These things tend to fizzle out and not match the hype.

    Probably not. As s*** as Hutch was last year he was worth 1.5 WAR and you don't need Thole. Floyd couldn't be counted on due to Injury history and Chavez is SP depth but needed to be in pen to replace Hendriks. At this point Id rather have Floyd in the rotation over RA.

    I thought they had to pick up his option for this season with the price of FA SP, but it's been painful with his performance. Martin's K's and neck issues magnify the downside of having to have Thole on the roster. This will be the last season of it and we just have to hope RA pulls it together like he did later in the season last year.

    There was a time, a long time, when winning a series @ the Trop was impossible. Even though we could have had the sweep, I'll take 2 of 3 anytime. Solid win Jays!

    Edwin getting pitched so tough away. Love to see him move up on the plate. He is just missing those pitches.

    He is staying away. Until our hitters start sending some balls to CF and RF why change? Min through 3.

    Cecil is this years Loup. He gets a dribbler - doesn't cover 1B. KK gets an ump call on a 2 strike CB check, and then promptly mashes a 2B on a FB. Then he gives up a winning hit on a line to an absolute s*** hitter. We had runners on 3B twice with 2 outs and never cashed them in to go ahead. We should have been more careful with Logan all game. Granted Guyer hit a couple lasers into bad luck Forsythe is just smoking hot right now. Sooooo frustrating.

    Still in a position to win this series. Line up is fine (I've given up bitching about Zeke) Edwin had a s***** April again after all. 92 wRC+ and an ISO of .146. They need him to pick it up. Lets go Jays.

    That wasn't Smoak's fault at all. Cecil didn't get over to cover.

    It's shocking to me after the 2nd half he had last year. I thought he would be THE most reliable arm in our pen. Argh.
