  1. cmon Edwin....drive one into the alley in RCF
  2. I am f***ing ecstatic. f*** did Smoak unload on that. Now Tulo! Now finish them and get the W boys.
  3. Cmon....we have a lot of legit issues to be concerned about with our team but a broken bat dribbler and we are complaining? Gotta say Biagini has been more than I expected so far. He looks good..
  4. Big and strong? check check = Meets Buck's reliever requirements.
  5. This is where JD really needs to come through against Dyson. Our big 3 have not been good with RISP. Lets go Jays! Pull this one out.
  6. Squeeze? How about just a fly ball? Not sure contact play was that smart with O outs.
  7. Still don't understand why Martin taking 88 MPH center cut FBS from Lewis. Please be safe.
  8. Now Tabby tells us giving up a GS brings on a new refreshing feeling for the pitcher.
  9. Gogo gets us on the board. Atta boy. Get greedy boys. Now STFU Tabby.
  10. Bump. RA doesn't get much love and drives most of us nuts in every start. But 3 earned runs in his last 21 IP and pitching better. We are going to need him (and other) when they send Sanchez back to the pen. Lets hope he keeps it rolling.
  11. In the world of sports I can't think of much harder tasks than hitting a round ball with a rounded bat @ 95mph with movement (and all the other nasty filthy s*** they throw at you to mess with timing)
  12. Just watched gm on PVR. What a start by RA. Smoak raking. Tulo pounds a 95mph FB. Solid D. All good. Get em tomorrow Birds.
  13. I don't know. Gibby was also here in 2014 when he got sent down for most of the yr after a similar start. I can see the odd spot start against RHP but if Travis is close to what he was I cant see a platoon....even with Gibby. The guy was over 2 WAR in about 60 games.
  14. He hasn't been bad the last 2 starts. One typical unlucky circus inning off LAD last Sat. Couple dribblers....BB....and a solid hit. Then there was CF shot into the WestJet flight deck. But I'm PVRing too for same reason
  15. Gov slingin the RA one liners...padummm psssh
  16. Really hope it works out for him and he can make it back to being close to what he was 2015. The way Goins has played, the bar has been set so low I'm sure he is going to be a welcome shot in the arm regardless of who is pitching. His splits were great. Aside from a bit of sloppy D, Barney > Goins.
  17. They aren't. They are a bit on the old side like us. Nobody else has a 40 year old who rakes like Papi. But they do have a lot of talent. Counting them out wouldn't be smart. Rays are no pushover either assuming Archer gets it rolling again.
  18. 4.5 gms back with 125 to go. 2 pretty good teams to climb over. We don't need a miracle run to win the Div but I wouldn't want us to fall any further back. We just need to be what we should be given the track records of the talent on this team. The team that stays healthiest will have the best shot of these 3.
  19. Spot on. Unless they get rolling collectively, Edwin and Jose are writing their own epitaph in TOR and making it easier for Shapiro not to do what he shouldn't anyway. Tulo (and Reyes before him) and Martin 2016 to date are evidence enough of the perils of extending aging expensive players long term.
  20. For sure. $40+mm/year for negative WAR is crippling unless you have unlimited budget. I just cant see them THIS bad continuing. (I keep saying this and they just don't get hot like I'd expect). Still a long way to go.
  21. You cant make that determination with 125 gms left given their track records. A couple hot months changes the whole picture for them (and us)
  22. Didn't you say you hated "IMO" awhile back? There were many reasons we lost this game. Tepera was just one. We should have won it before Gibby even had a chance to make the decision to take Floyd out.
