    We have struggled against him before. Really hope we have an approach tailored for his stuff today. He is a good arm but not that good. Looking at his stats this am and I actually thought they would be better given how well he seems to pitch against us. Go Jays!

    That is good news for Burger. Let’s hope for Mike. Seems like such good kid. He has done some bullpens at the old coyotes dens here in Calgary. Not many can catch him. Kids line up along the mesh to watch it. Hope he bounces back.

    Make lots of bad choices but not that one. An aging OF where so much of his value is on D is at most a 1 year deal. Davis is our poor mans JBJ.

    No he doesn't. Of those 3 most happy for him as we have watched him develop from his early struggles. Been fun to see him make adjustments in his whole game. I don't know if he is but he seems like a really nice guy. Great smile and way about him.

    Hope I'm wrong. My heart wants it to be different I'm a die hard, but its math. We have to rely on them going on a major roll, but so many holes its not that likely. Lost another we needed to W yesterday. Isn't going to get easier against the Rays. Odds are now 40%. Not impossible just unlikely.

    Need to Win 49/84 to get to 90 = .580 ball Fangraphs = 47% odds we make playoffs. Calling it. More tweaks are made as we get to deadline. We play .560 ish ball. Close but no cigar to wildcard. Plus offense, decent rotation, not great D, s*** pen we couldn't get addressed until it was too late, and a s*** manager who made s*** choices with said s*** pen.

    Another Ray start. Just reached 1fWAR. Another 6 inning very decent outing. HR/FB is 23%. wow. But i dont know that its bad luck? 3rd time through the order OPS against him is over .1000 He is doing fine but it would be great if he had a more effective change to work in over start. He is throwing CB 13% and change 3.7. It seems like with so much hard stuff eventually he misses spot and they are on time so square it up. The HR last night was 94 down in zone. Little too much center of plate but not a horrible pitch. No idea what an extension is worth with him? 10-15 AAV 3 year? He comes with some risk. Does he have any more upside?

    I haven’t looked at his defensive stats but eye test wise he has looked so active and solid. Never gives up on anything. Takes pride in making plays. Which makes me cringe sometimes as I expect him to pull something and or get run over and hurt.

    Sometimes easy to overlook how much Teo has evolved as a hitter and player overall. He has revamped his stance and plate approach. What a steal that deal was.

    Ya the FO sure. But Charlie does have one bullet in the pen. He should have used its in the 8th with tying run at the plate against RHH. What was he saving that one bullet for is the fair question? Romano has been more than meh.

    lol. Ya I do and you are too optimistic. .590 rest of the way isn't easy. Maybe if they add a bunch. Got to beat the O's when you have a 4 run lead in the 8th. More I think about last night with tying run at plate and RHHs up, Montoyo should have brought in Romano to relieve Chatwood, if he was hot.
