    Ya. I didn’t mind using him there. He just wasn’t good. But he has been better lately. I agree with Sidell questioning the back to back change ups against Mullins with 2 strikes.

    I want to blame Buntoyo for this but I can’t. He had guys up and pulled Chatwood. Man it’s hard to walk Freddy Galvis but he pulled it off.

    Just need to take sit back and take stock sometimes on Vlad this season. We are witnessing something very special again in a Jays uniform. It’s like he is playing a video game.

    Would be amazing to see him starting for us. Probably an irrelevant comparable but what did we rent Price for 2015? Boyd and Norris? How does the Board view that deal in retrospect? Boyd has been worth 10 WAR since he left. I think it was good for both teams. Hard to value how 2015 run helped propel the Jays back into the main stream of Canadian sports pecking order.

    This. Randal 0.4 WAR and 100 wRC+ with that contract. Sucker born every minute (still cant believe we at one point shed the Wells and Rios deals) but there is little trade value there.

    McGuire worth 0.8 WAR this year. Twice Grichuk's 0.4 Reece rockin' a 127 wRC+ I know he is hot and that won't last, but lets face it we can use the LHH bat. Jansen has been a neg WAR player who simply never got hot even for a short stretch. How nice is it to not think the bottom of the order is a complete black hole for a change?

    Romano has been worth .8 WAR....how does that stack up against all MLB relievers. Amazingly Chapman is only .9 and Hendricks 1.1

    Me same on Pearson once he gets off his latest IL stint. Why not? See if he can find his command 1/2 innings for max effort. He is getting the stink of bust on him. Romano has been good not great but he is our best. Still BBing 4.5 BB/9 and makes me nervous some outings. Last night loved his FB use.

    Springer is back fingers crossed. Starters and pen performing better. Good Stirling and Good Chatwood lately huge plus. They need to keep addressing their holes. Confident they will. Things are looking up men.

    I feel the same about the hr derby. no interest. But have to admit watching all that top young talent and Ohtani at Coors was something that had my interest. But still glad Vlad said no. He is on a roll playing great on offense and D. Just keep it going. I would guess that derby makes for a exciting but tiring and stressful evening.

    Didn't say it would happen. Just said: 1. Nobody has to be forced. 2. It could happen. Its a business and a brand. Freedom!

    MLB doesn't have to force anyone to be vaccinated. They can make it a rule that it’s in the interest of their business and brand that any player must be fully vaccinated. Players can chose not be vaccinated and not play and not get paid and opt out.

    So you don’t bring in your closer in a tie game on the road but you do use him on the road down 3 runs = 4 dimensional Charlie chess. I’m not feelin chillaxed Spank.
