Not always. Went to Anaheim in August 2015 on that trip and we absolutely mashed them for a sweep, carrying on same in Seattle. This swing is a giant enema compared to that. -

I didn't slack him. He is a decent piece but just meant he doesn't move the needle enough. Neither does Hand. Soria xFIP 4.12...K rate is still ok. Meh.

Let’s face it. Hand and Soria don’t really help us that much. We got Berrios and the pen is better…really just still sucks pretty much. The offence owns this too. Depressing game.

That’s a brutal send with Vlad on deck. Even with him running towards OF to catch that pop up. We struggle to do some of the little things in this game.

Wow. Matz did well. Didn't see that coming the way that began. Thought his inning pitch count was going to be in 30s and they might have to throw 2 starters today lol.

Its a discussion board hombre. Of course we complain and debate. Overall this FO has been highly effective most would agree with. But I personally like criticizing them for amusement,venting and interest in debate sometimes. We aren't all fanboys looking to blow sunshine up their asses. Roark, Yates and yes even Randal fair game. There are some good arguments made that they arent that big of a deal in the overall picture and I think thats fair. Ujiri won an NBA title at the helm. Of course he gets a pass on his s*** deals. Most excuse a winner (Cito may be the exception). Gibby had a lot of warts too but compared to Buntoyo he is a baseball savante. Remember his use of Ezequiel Carerra (his own Panik) the bunts with Goins and some of his pen use decisions etc etc? But he was a character and we had some awesome moments in 15 and 16. We love revisionist history, fanboying and complaining. Its all good. -
Memories to treasure. Hope you got some pics. The gm being great helps but even if they don't win you and your son will always remember it fondly. Funny my son is always more optimistic than me about the team coming back too. We went to that Steve Pearce game where he hit the GS to come back to win from like down 11-4 or something crazy. Kids are innocent and not jaded and cynical like me lol. Flew son from Calgary to Tor first game at 4, 9 years ago and looking forward to next trip. Never forget it.

Spent day at field watching my kid play ball. PVRed game and managed to avoid score. Just finished game on PVR. Holy f*** Batman. How did Vlad hit that out? George Springer holy f***. How did Father Time get through those innings? Holy f*** Romano dialing up 101s. Man that was sweet sweet nectar after last nights loss. f*** the BoSox and Go Jays!

We should have a separate thread for it. It turns GDT into same thing every time we are in extras. I don’t mind the rule. It’s the same for both teams. Find a way to make it work for you at the plate.

Bo shortened up and was just trying to punch a ball or get it in the OF. He got beat by a good 3-1 pitch. Must have been looking slider or would have taken it? Teo’s AB was worse but got set up by 97 inside on black. Not sure why he took the hung slider for 2nd strike. Guessing fastball? bad guess. Disappointing. Well we have a shot at 3/4.

Shut them down. We get a Runner on 2nd. I know it’s Barnes but we will pull it out.

No mercy Jays. With our pen 7 inning games are a blessing. Berrios needs to keep it rolling. Starters have been on fire keeping us in games. Hopefully the offence finds it in this game.

Always sceptical of the narratives about the fans and home field advantage blah blah but you do get the feeling that having the support and being in a real park is giving these guys a lift in their push for a wild card. It’s just got to be a lot more fun for them to play in Toronto. Buff and Dunedin did their best but it was just weird all the time.

Not worried about Vlad. Just keep winning. He will heat up again and the timing is going to be great for us. Others are picking him up. Thankfully.

I can stomach Buck. I like Joe S and don’t mind Jamie. A rash and what’s her name blow. Tabby is the worst. Nauseating. Just blathers on. Sometimes I just can’t take it and pound the mute.
