  1. What ? He had his best three hitters up with tying run on second? Did he have to go out there and hit for them?
  2. PTS is replaying the AA interview father the 615 commercial break
  3. Worst case is he gives Reyes level defense if he can't dive or reach to his left
  4. Exactly. It means gibbons doesn't trust Pennington at 2b
  5. with the quality of his at bats and with Tulo and D Travis back in the lineup next year, he bats 9th guaranteed heck, he bats 9th behind Goins this year when Tulo comes back (fingers crossed)
  6. he has been very good out there, Kevin Keirmeyer has been all-world # Name Team G PA HR R RBI SB BB% K% ISO BABIP AVG OBP SLG wOBA wRC+ BsR Off Def WAR 1 Kevin Kiermaier Rays 143 506 8 56 36 16 4.5 % 18.4 % .149 .304 .257 .294 .406 .302 93 3.4 -0.5 30.3 4.9 2 Kevin Pillar Blue Jays 149 586 10 70 48 20 4.3 % 13.8 % .108 .286 .260 .296 .367 .289 79 7.3 -7.0 14.3 2.8 3 Lorenzo Cain Royals 131 565 16 95 68 28 6.4 % 16.6 % .177 .344 .304 .361 .481 .362 131 5.2 25.2 13.2 6.0 4 Michael Taylor Nationals 127 472 14 47 62 15 6.6 % 31.1 % .137 .317 .233 .285 .371 .280 73 -1.3 -16.1 11.9 1.1 5 Odubel Herrera Phillies 135 495 8 59 40 14 4.8 % 24.4 % .124 .383 .293 .335 .417 .328 106 0.9 4.2 10.3 3.2
  7. I point this out more to say how s*** Pillar is, not to prop up Goins
  8. who has the higher OPS this year? Goins or Pillar Goins - .669 Pillar -.663 Pillar is a good defensive CF, but his offence is not good in anyway
  9. I have upped my dream off season - I now HOPE jays sign Price and Smardj. Gives you Price, STro, Smardj, Hutch and Sanchez starting pick up EE and JB options - keeps lineup in tact. have Pompey/Pillar battle in centre. have Goins/Travis battle at 2B Bullpen - will be a hodgepodge of whatever AA scrapes together anyway
  10. who else found it interesting that Matt Hague pinch hit in key situation last night?? Colabello and Navarro left on the bench
  11. unfortunately it brings our defence down just enough, plus Pennington Time for JD to bring it back up to MVP level.
  12. Pennington has been throwing like s***
  13. talent wise pompey is the best OF the Jays have. He is a five tool player. It is experience that he lacks JB is starting to be a trainwreck in RF. his defensive metrics are bottom 5 for qualified RF. However his bat and power are awesome so he keeps that spot. Pillar/Pompey/Revere/Saunders give you the depth to cover LF and CF.
  14. The Jays are set up to be pretty strong for a couple years (2016 anyway for JB and EE) with the everyday lineup they currently have and control. my wishlist would include the following 1. sign Price - you need an ace/anchor for the pitching staff 2. trade for Chapman - truly solidify the closer and allow Osuna to start 3. sign next year's Lowe for the bullpen 4. qualify Buehrle 5. qualify Estrada? not sure on this, probably like to sign him for 2 or 3 years 6. pick up Dickey option 7. pick up EE and JB options SP - Price, Stroman, Dickey, Hutchison, Estrada, Sanchez, Osuna RP - Sanchez, Osuna, Cecil, Schultz, Tepera, Hendricks, Loup and whatever else is picked up
  15. hes got 39 HR and there are 16 games left hes averaged a HR 6% of his AB. Based on averages he will hit another 4.32 HR
  16. Umm... Thanks doc Unless that is undetectable sarcasm
  17. Rays can only beat the jays I guess
  18. f***ing Gardner Come on Alex u juiced up pig
  19. Way to heat up Ellsbery. 0 for last 21
  20. Wholly f*** 1-0 game going into 9th. Almost 3hours What the hell do Yankees do??
  21. 2 wins in each series would have the team finish 12-7. (94 wins) Yanks would have to go 16-4 to tie.
  22. Hasn't been formally announced, but I'd keep price on 4 days rest for remainder of season. Have to skip a starter every so often. Basically going to skip Hutch depending where we are in the rotation Monday Sep 14 off 1. @ ATL Burhele - 7 days rest 2. @ ATL Price - 4 3. @ ATL Estrada - 4 4. Bos Stro 5 days rest 5. Bos Dickey 5 6. Bos Burl 4 7. NYY Price 4 days rest 8. NYY Estrada 4 9. NYY Stro 4 Thurs Sep 24 off 10. TB Dickey 5 11. TB Price 4 12. TB Buehrle 6 13. @Balt Estrada 5 14. @Balt Stro 5 15. @Balt Dickey 4 16. @Balt Price 4 17. @TB Buehrle 4 18. @TB Estrada 4 19. @TB Stro 4
