    Revenue to the blue jays is arbitrarily allocated by Rogers. If you compare what roger paid to the nhl for hockey rights and the number of viewers the nhl generates to baseball viewers generated by bluejay games the rights to blue jay games would compare very favorably to all the top market deals. LAD and Yankees for instance So a payroll where those two teams are still generate a significant profit. That is sustainable. Maybe Rogers gets the message about the value of a winning mlb powerhouse. Hope this bumps payroll to keep the staff together. We will see

    except the Jays are not a mid market team. they are a large market team with the wealthiest owners in MLB and the highest TV 3's in MLB. They should be top 5 payroll based on that

    based on facts? no, Cleveland does not equal Toronto. Toronto is the fourth largest market in North America. Higher if you include the rural areas of the country

I pointed this out many times last year and was called a Gruber wannabe. Many SSS analysers on this board must learn patience and we can hope that Goins can maintain a .240 mlb average going forward

    whoever gets called up will likely be a bench piece for the National league games. Double switch etc for pitcher pinch hitting etc so likely won't matter who comes up unless its Thole to catch dickey and give Martin the longer stretch off

    big problem with him at third is that he absolutely sucks complete s*** going to his left for ground balls.. looks like a 70 year old going to his right he just looks s***** - like a 45 year old his defense is atrocious and his bat won't play as a DH he is done. great move by AA

    reyes won't be traded anywhere unless Colorado agrees to pay at least half the remaining contract. He's not a $22million player. Going forward with his defence I think its a stretch to say he will be an $11million player
