  1. What? Mozzicato at #7? I'm sure they have their reasons but for reference, he was #39 on MLB.com.
  2. Starting to build the best player available tracker! https://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/threads/9727-GDT-2021-First-Year-Player-Draft-Day-1-July-11-%E2%80%94-7-00-PM-ET?p=1522572&viewfull=1#post1522572
  3. @BlueRocky and Metafour I know the Jays haven't been tied to him at all but how do you guys feel about Binelas as an underslot option at #19? I really liked him at the combine.
  4. Hadn't even turned on the MLB Network broadcast for a minute before Harold Reynolds made a Cal Ripken comp. I f***ing hate this guy.
  5. Bottom of the 2nd inning on MLB Network. Currently 0-1 for the NL.
  6. Diaz's hit to break up the no-hitter had a .070 xBA on it. f***ing annoying.
  7. I f***ing hate Yandy Diaz. Most annoying face in baseball.
  8. Buck just had to mention it. I f***ing hate him sometimes, lol.
  9. Vladdy's two outs today have had xBA's of .450 and .480, lol.
  10. I mean, they're playing four outfielders against him for a reason. Not exactly a shocker that a liner there found a glove.
  11. Like Osuna, I was a big fan of Pardinho ever since the Jays were first tied to him. Looked at the time like they got another Stroman on their hands. Now that he's gotten the TJS out of the way, I could see him climb quickly.
  12. Ray is one of the best pitchers in the MLB the first two times through the order. If he could stop being total ass the third time through, he'd be a legitimate top of the rotation arm.
  13. These Rays hats are the ugliest baseball hats I've ever seen.
  14. Rays announcers talking about how Jansen has already cost Ray multiple strikes with bad framing.
  15. New look GDT! I've moved the preview off into it's own button so it doesn't take up so much space on the front page. I've also pulled the lineup to the top and moved the team comparison lower and attached it to the injury report.

  18. https://www.chron.com/sports/astros/article/Evan-Gattis-Astros-cheating-Dodgers-signs-podcast-16282495.php Fairly explosive podcast appearance on the Astros sign-stealing drama. Evan Gattis openly admits to the cheating scandal and says "it was f***ing fun." Admits to being one of the proponents for it. Mentions that they didn't feel bad doing it at the time because every team in the majors was cheating in one way or another. Says Astros players called Dodgers players and told them to be cool because they knew how the Dodgers were cheating. Thought part of the reason the Astros got blown up for it was because they went through the Red Sox, Yankees and Dodgers.
  19. lol, here I was hoping Carapazza would be the odd man out when it came to manning home plate for this series and of course he's calling the first game.
  20. He is definitely an ******* but among the major "ump show" guys, he's the best umpire in terms of accuracy and consistency. Out of the 90 umps, Carapazza ranks #27 in accuracy, while C.B. Bucknor ranks #67, Angel Hernandez ranks #73, Laz Dias comes in at #77 and Country Joe ranks #83. Bucknor is also the 4th worst umpire in terms of consistency. Joe is 14th worst. Carapazza is the 13th most consistent umpire. So yeah, while he's a douchebag, he at least calls a better game than the other notorious umps.
  21. The umpires for this series are Pat Hoberg, Chris Conroy, Ben May and Vic Carapazza. In other words, it should be a well-umped series. Of the 90 umps that have called at least five games this season, all four guys in this series are in the top 30 for average accuracy on balls and strikes. Average Accuracy: Hoberg: 94.4% (#11) Conroy: 94.0% (#14) May: 93.9% (#21) Carapazza: 93.8% (#27) Hoberg is also the #1 most consistent umpire in the MLB, so hopefully he calls one of the three games. Average Consistency: Hoberg: 98.2% (#1) May: 96.9% (#6) Carapazza: 96.7% (#13) Conroy: 96.3% (#29)
