  1. Two wins down. 21-8. Three wins down. 20-8. Four wins down. 19-8. Five wins down. 18-8. Six wins down. 17-8. Seven wins down. 16-8. Eight wins down. 15-8. Nine wins down. 14-7. 10 wins down. 13-7. 11 wins down. 12-7. 12 wins down. 11-7. 13 wins down. 10-6. 14 wins down. 9-5.
  2. Weird few plate appearances. They've swung through a lot of meatballs. Seems they're right on it but just off on timing.
  3. How much trade value does Donaldson have if the Twins eat like 75% of his salary? Because if Jose Ramirez isn't on the table, I kinda really want the Jays to bring him back.
  4. Should have traded for Donaldson so he didn't do this against them, lmao.
  5. Game #148 Minnesota Twins (Ober) @ Toronto Blue Jays (Matz) Schedule | Standings | FanGraphs | News | Video | Spotlight | Twitter | Reddit | Instagram
  6. I knew I had a bad feeling about the Twins, lol.
  7. Felix Hernandez Evan Longoria Carl Crawford David Wright Ryan Braun Troy Tulowitzki Johan Santana Hanley Ramirez Joe Mauer The list goes on. This era is filled with guys who looked like surefire hall of famers at one point in their careers and just fell off. From the above list, I think Mauer does get in. But I still can't believe Longoria and Felix aren't going to be in the HoF.
  8. Gonna be honest, the seven games against the Twins have been giving me anxiety for weeks. This is the one part of the schedule everyone has been declaring the Blue Jays' way ahead of time but the margin of error is very small here. Anything less than the Blue Jays dominating these 7 games puts a lot of pressure on their other 9 games, which include the Yankees and Rays. Glad this series is finally here so I can see how it plays out.
  9. Game #147 Minnesota Twins (Pineda) @ Toronto Blue Jays (Ryu) Schedule | Standings | FanGraphs | News | Video | Spotlight | Twitter | Reddit | Instagram
  10. Moreno went 3-3 on September 9 and was pulled before his fourth plate appearance. He didn't play on September 10. He took one plate appearance on September 11 and was pulled again. Hasn't played since. Anybody have any idea what's up with him? I hope he didn't reaggravate his injury somehow.
  11. Kevin Cash unironically believes Charlie Montoyo should be manager of the year. https://www.sportsnet.ca/mlb/rays-skip-thinks-blue-jays-charlie-montoyo-manager-year/ I wonder if this is a ploy to get the Jays to keep him so he can continue losing games and indirectly benefitting the Rays.
  12. Do you have a problem with that? They just gifted the Jays three games because of how bad they are.
  13. Two wins down. 21-8. Three wins down. 20-8. Four wins down. 19-8. Five wins down. 18-8. Six wins down. 17-8. Seven wins down. 16-8. Eight wins down. 15-8. Nine wins down. 14-7. 10 wins down. 13-7. 11 wins down. 12-7. 12 wins down. 11-7. 13 wins down. 10-6.
  14. It's not just about where the pitches were though. The Jays were a lot less patient yesterday.
  15. Game #146 Tampa Bay Rays (Wacha) @ Toronto Blue Jays (Ray) Schedule | Standings | FanGraphs | News | Video | Spotlight | Twitter | Reddit | Instagram
  16. This is an excellent Twitter thread from Chris Black on the wild adjustments Kevin Cash and the Rays made to their pitching approach between Game 1 and Game 2 of this series. I encourage everyone here to click the link and read through.
  17. Yarbrough f***ed them up. I f***ing hate that guy.
  18. Bo has been swinging at literally everything lately. Even his homer yesterday was on a pitch he probably shouldn't have swung at.
  19. One pitch from loading the bases with no outs to getting out of it without anyone even reaching third base. Big oof.
  20. They're gonna review this and find some ******** split second where he was off the bag, aren't they?
  21. The 96-98 that Rasmussen throws probably looks like 200 after the trash that Yarbrough was throwing all night. My biggest concern with them facing that garbage can yesterday was that I didn't want it to mess with the guys' timing. Hopefully they catch up to the speed quickly.
