Alex joins my favorite MLB interview personality on High Heat to talk about the Blue Jays. He talks about the recent hitting woes, getting swept in New York, if he feels his starting pitching is enough to contend, and if he can afford a big starting pitcher at the trade deadline. He says that he will be in on every significant starting pitcher, and even though the team is maxed out on payroll, believes that Rogers will provide additional resources if the team is in a pennant race and it's necessary to accommodate a move that makes sense. He also says that based on preliminary trade talks, it seems that he definitely has the prospects to get a trade done and that it only comes down to whether the Jays are comfortable parting with the pieces in question.
