    Of course it does, but if we simply see "Papelbon+cash" and we don't know how much cash that is, how can anyone immediately discount it as a "gross" trade? I'd probably make that trade even if they only ate half of what he's still owed.

    How is that gross? You're talking about two guys that are barely C prospects for one of the greatest relief aces in the game... He's been consistently excellent for literally every single season since 2006.

    Yeah, not only is that hairstyle incredibly common nowadays, the guy's suit looked nothing like what the dickhead sitting next to her was wearing. I'm not sure if she thinks her husband holds artistic license over just suits in general, but I really didn't understand it. I just saw a site called 3 News break a story a few minutes ago that both of them had been fired, and I didn't know if it was legit, but twitter exploded right after with other sites posting similar stories. It's such a strange incident, even the two judges who were sitting next to those two on the desk made pretty scathing tweets in response:

    Totally completely off-topic, but if anyone hasn't already seen this, the ugly bitch and her generic **** of a husband responsible for just got fired. Good riddance, although I'll admit, some of the responses to this whole thing were pretty hilarious.

    A torn ACL usually takes 6-9 months to fully rehab, with some guys coming back even sooner than that, and others taking longer. Jerry Rice came back from a torn ACL in 3.5 months and then fractured his knee in his first game. It's pretty much up to Stroman to not push himself too hard and to get a full and proper recovery. Seeing him back by August is not out of the realm of possibility.

    Oh. Thought this thing was a dream. AA looks better with the beard. Don't the Brewers have the best training/medical staff in the majors? I don't know how much of a role that might play in rehabbing a torn ACL, but even I thought it was a bit of a stretch to prematurely declare that Stroman will be out for the whole season off a March injury. All they can do is prepare the rotation and their depth as well as they can, and hope he gets back sooner as a pleasant bonus.

    If you wanna look at it another way, this injury doesn't rule out an arm injury in the near future at all. Most of the time if a guy has TJS, you think "eh, maybe he'll come back and he'll have a repaired arm and he'll be healthy for a while". Stroman could come back after a year of rehabbing his knee and then blow his arm out a few weeks later.
