    Just want to say that I had such a strong desire to come to my computer and say "Edwin's about to hit a bomb here" but I couldn't because I was on the phone with the motherf***ers at Rogers, trying to get them to fix my RogersOnDemand online service. Did anyone else notice him crank his arms on that first pitch before laying off, watch that third pitch go inside before laying off again, and just get this feeling like he was about to let one loose?

    I probably created one of the bigger s*** storms in PSD history a few years ago, when I made an April Fools thread in the main MLB forum with a title that went something like "Report: Jose Bautista, Matt Kemp on long list of players tested positive for human growth hormone". That was it, there was no content in the thread, just a "April Fools" GIF, but it was enough to get fans of every team to flip their s***. Pretty soon, the "members viewing this thread" list included bots from Google and several other search engines, and within a few hours, there were several hundred guests viewing the thread. The mods had to move the thread to the private moderator forum because people started fighting between each other, with a handful laughing it off and a majority of them bitching like Jonn. I wish the thread still existed, just so I could go back and smile at it.

Making sarcasm obvious totally defeats the purpose of the sarcasm, but it's so typical granny-panty BJMB for someone here to call me out on my sarcasm not being obvious enough. c) You really misused the word "unprecedented" in your previous post. Bitching when someone calls you out is not unprecedented around these parts, it's common practice. Maybe "uncalled for" was the term you were looking for.

    Just a bunch of little things. The whole Beane thing in Oakland, the way he talks on Twitter, the fact that he posts pictures without crediting the artists, the fact that he seems to be a huge Conor McGregor fan, the fact that he posted that cringey Fear the North picture, I don't know, just a whole lot of insignificant little things. It doesn't really bother me, I just feel like it might become a thing the way everyone seems to think Bautista's a douche just because he loses his s*** in games sometimes.

    I agree, I'm just mentioning it now, because I know it's gonna be such a f***ing thing if he struggles at any point. I don't care how he is as long as he isn't a complete media disaster like an Everth Cabrera, and we know Donaldson isn't that. That won't stop people from complaining about it like they do about Bautista.

    What moves do you propose they should make, given the players currently in the organization, to make this roster more ideal?

    Based on whatever I've read, it appears that the bullpen does look to be Cecil, Loup, Estrada, Redmond, Osuna, Castro and Hynes for now, unless/until they bring someone in from other teams' roster cuts. Hendriks looks to be on the bubble, where he'll make the team if they go with an 8-man pen, and Goins will probably make the team if they don't.

    Bitch all you want about the 8-man bullpen or the early callups on Castro and Osuna, there is so much to like about this roster, and so many of the concerns and doubts people had about the Jays ability to put together the best possible roster have been answered. Smoak is starting at 1B, Travis at 2B, Viciedo has been released, Drabek wasn't kept simply because he had options, neither of Izturis or Goins are on the starting roster, Martin's catching the knuckleball, Thole's been demoted, Hynes made the cut, and Hutchison is starting on opening day. The 8-man bullpen will likely go down to seven when Saunders comes off the DL.

    I'm fine with carrying Navarro. The only reason I ever really wanted him gone was to free up his salary for someone like Neshek, Lowrie, Crain or Badenhop. Also because I hate him. But he's not a useless piece, as long as they don't criminally misuse him, which in all fairness is probably something they'll do. I'd much rather have Weeks taking the salary and roster spot that Navarro is, but oh well.
