  1. Why even take him out now? Let him wear it. You're down 7-0 in the second, there's no point in wasting your pen and jeopardizing the next few games as well.

  3. Pro tip: If you're ever sharing a mediadownloads.mlb video link, you can just change the number at the end of the URL to 2500K (your link was 1200K) to improve the resolution to the best available.
  4. Jays sign an undrafted free agent: Buffo and Schneider leaning towards signing: http://www.heraldextra.com/sports/college/byu/baseball/byu-s-maverik-buffo-drafted-by-the-blue-jays-in/article_7524aa0c-abad-5c77-a793-fb7132dc20ff.html http://highschoolsports.nj.com/news/article/-3912593104761736720/baseball-easterns-davis-scheneider-taken-in-28th-round-by-blue-jays-leaning-toward-signing/
  5. http://forum.orioleshangout.com/forums/index.php?/topic/29119-is-it-possible-we-are-just-spoiled/ True poetry from real life fairweather fan, Roy Firestone.
  6. You're quite emotional about this, aren't you? It seems I struck a chord... like Reggie Pruitt struck a deal with the Blue Jays after you said he wouldn't.
  7. There were actually only two prospects in the entire first 10 rounds from last year's draft that didn't sign. That takes into account all 30 teams. The draft has changed over the past couple seasons and it should be a huge shock if anybody in the first 10 rounds doesn't sign.
  8. It literally happened with Reggie Pruitt, who signed for only 500K after this metafour kid said there was no chance he was signing. I can't speak for what people were saying last year because I wasn't on this forum during the last draft, but this guy already ate his words twice in 2015 when Pruitt signed and it turned out that it was just a straight play by the FO and wasn't because Maese suffered some sort of mysterious injury that suddenly cratered his signing bonus. Things change and guys who sometimes say they'll never sign end up signing for less than what anyone expected if you say or do the right things for them. These aren't investors or business professionals, they're kids being sold the chance of obtaining their lifelong dream. Some of their decisions are driven by emotion and not always by logic. None of us can make absolute statements about whether or not a guy will sign until we see how it plays out.
  9. You asked if they were applauding. I confirmed that yes, they were applauding. Do I know why? I do not. Do I know whether or not you're an idiot troll who thinks he knows more than he does? I do; you are.
  10. The big one is prep RHP Daniel Ritcheson. He's the only Top 200 guy they drafted after the 4th round.
  11. Way to ignore the rest of my post. Is anybody on this forum a more blatant troglodyte than this guy? Now that the draft is over you can crawl back into your hole and stop quoting me.
  12. 14. You could definitely hear loud cheers and applause in the room right as they announced the pick in the few seconds before they hung up. Maybe they figured out a way to sign Beck. Maybe they were just cheering for the sake of cheering. I hope it's the latter. We'll find out in a few weeks.
  15. lol, since the 24th round, the Yankees have drafted: Pat DeMarco (181) Riley Thompson (164) Tristan Beck (53) Jake Mangum (102) Steven Williams (146) Tanner Burns (39) Between Beck and Burns, they've picked up two of the best talents in the draft. Either the Yankees don't care about throwing away picks on guys they'll never sign, or every other team is dumn.
  16. The Phillies just took a guy named Joe Bro (Breaux). Edit: And now the Astros just drafted his brother, Josh Bro.
