    The Jays arent good at developing minor leaguers. So all this might be a moot point. It is probably a great thing for the development of those minor league players to have been traded to the Marlins. They should be very happy.

    Career Blue Jay WAR: Delgado 34.6 Bautista 24.8 ZIPS has Jose ending up with 5.2 WAR in 2014. This would mean his career Blue Jay WAR would be 28.5. There is a good chance he passes Delgado’s career Jays WAR.

    In a pitching era, Bautista had two monster years in 2010 and 2011. He followed them up with two very good years in 2012 and 2013. The numbers suggest he is having another monster season so far. Where does he rank among best Blue Jay hitters of all time? Is he going to end up on the Level of Excellence?
