    Striking out more, walking less, hitting more ground balls (even leads team in GIDP). Seems late on every pitch. It also looks like he starts every at bat down 1-2. Hes been ice cold for a month now.

    Is it John Maddon? Is it their no-name bullpen? Is it the empty, energy deprived, soulless Tropicana field? Records against the Rays the last few years: 2013: 4-4 (2-3 @ TB) 2012: 4-14 (1-8 @ TB) 2011: 6-12 (3-5 @ TB) Haven't won a series in TB since 2007. Awful.

    Yeah, Melky has not looked good in June. DLing him might me a smart long term move. Especially with the all star break coming up (gives him a couple extra days).

    I really think having both Johnson and Morrow in the rotation is kind of scary. Both are the same guy. Injury prone pitchers with good hard pitches (Fastbal, Slider) but they dont change speeds well enough so are prone to be hit hard.

    The real roster decsision isn't when Reyes comes back but it is when Lawrie comes back. Are we really going to keep DeRosa on the roster over Kawaski, Bonie and Izzy because of his "veteran" presence?

    Give me a defensive catcher with a good OBP. When was the last time a catcher hit 300 and swung for 30 home runs? Joe Mauer that one fluke year?
