But there's just no point in having him in AAA when he currently improves our team and he's got nothing to work out down there. We're certainly not on Dodgers or Astros level of pitching depth, so why waste one of the guys who could slot into an empty slot and improve our team in the minors? Having options is only a luxury if the team is stacked enough at that position that we can afford to stash him.
Appreciate it, doesn't get much faster than that. If it's not too much bother, could you or one of you other fellas with spreadsheet access process the deal between TCA and myself? I feel like it might have gotten lost in the last page. Link to it for reference below:
I think Calhoun is a better contributor than just "a league average hitting OF", but my outfield is in shambles and I had picks to spare so I'm not too distraught if I paid over.
If anyone's hurting for a catcher, Yasmani Grandal is very much available. Franklin Barreto, Luis Ortiz could be added, or be moved independently. Also looking to move some of my prospects outside of the elite range.
Nice deal dudes, I think I like Boxy's side more because there's a chance one of the flyball dudes is legit and Cotton/Folty isn't total garbage.
Boxy, would you consider moving one of LoMo and Alonso now that you've acquired them?
Ugh I can't stress enough how much it sucks that I have such little wiggle room for adding intriguing players given the state of my team.
Interested in Alonso, LoMo, Calhoun and Delmonico.
Derozan drops a career and franchise best 52 points on what was an amazing game from him offensively and defensively. Also a very exciting game against the Bucks.
All of the players you just mentioned are replacement level and 4 of them were significantly below replacement last season. That's not how you upgrade a glaring hole in the team.
