  1. Nooooooooo Also link? People on Twitter say things all the time, is it from a verified source?
  2. He ran a 120 wRC+, which is not impressive for a 26 year old at his third go-around in AA, but it is 20% above the league average. Slash lines are deceiving, you have to take into account the run environment that he's in.
  3. Christian Pache pushing Acuna out of CF is a big LOL, but I can understand if they'll wait as long as Inciarte is there.
  4. I agree 80 might be aggressive, but by all accounts his bat control is superb, and currently the stats back that up. I think a 60 is far too low on the hit tool, conservatively he's 65-70 hit and 60-70 power, but the industry consensus and the stats do seem to point to 80/70 or 75/70 with maybe 80 raw being a realistic toolset for this kid.
  5. Some weird grades in there. According to them Jo Adell has all the makings of a superstar and yet he's only ranked 46.
  6. I'm pretty skeptical on Acuna having 70 grade power. Vlad though, Jesus Christ, 80/70 is absurd.
  7. I mean, at his age Syndergaard had already established himself as an MLB ace, but sure Greene could totally do that.
  8. I mean you're not entirely wrong, but Ohtani is 23 and will almost surely be making his debut in April of this year, which is a perfectly reasonable age. He has success in the second best league in the world while being very young. 23 years old and MLB ready potential ace, based on career value the only reason you'd put him behind Vladdy and Acuna is the fact that he's a pitcher and much more likely to get injured, because talent wise they're all on the same ladder step.
  9. It's probably because they had a supposedly strong group a couple of years ago with guys like Arodys Vizcaino and they all flamed out/became relievers, plus Teheran suxxx. But man, being a Braves pitcher in the 90s was the place to be.
  10. Eloy for Quintana is fine, they were just paying market value and their rotation was falling apart. Gleyber Torres for half a season of Chapman was egregious, even if they did take the championship which I imagine they valued quite highly being the Cubs and all.
  11. You should want Gohara, his stuff is amazing and he projects like an SP3 in what will be his first full season. C.C. Sabathia anyone? No way I'm trading any of those guys for a Mejican with 60 professional games though.
  12. Acuna just destroyed the three highest levels in the minors as a 19 year old, and he only got better as he went. It would be nearly inexcusable to put a pitcher over him, no matter how unique Ohtani is.
  13. I'm open to it as long as it's not for Honeywell, Buehler and probably Gohara whom I love.
  14. 13. Walker Buehler 14. Brent Honeywell 23. Luiz Gohara 40. Keibert Ruiz 51. Leody Taveras 52. Cal Quantrill 58. Luis Robert (I don't agree with him being this low) 65. Kolby Allard 69. Mitchell White 94. Andres Gimenez
  15. I don't know about the ++, but Yelich is a 26 year-old 4 win player signed cheaply until 2021, you absolutely make the deal if the Marlins ask for Bo + some lottery tickets. Unless the team projects Bo to be Correa-lite, highly unlikely, you have to be open to this kind of deal.
  16. It's a perfectly reasonable deal from both sides. The Cards had a logjam in the OF after their acquisition of Ozuna, so they traded a guy with flaws in his game for a flamethrowing prospect whom they'll hope to fix and a reliever who was excellent as recently as last year to bolster their depleted bullpen. The Jays moved a risky prospect with terrible results and high bust chance plus a reliever who randomly had a great year following two brutal ones for a controllable OF who runs and plays defense well and big power upside with the bat.
  17. Lies! Vlad and Bo won't be eligible by then!
  18. He more than likely would not crack the top 10 as a hitter only, probably top 50 at best. He's there because of his arm and the fact that yes, he offers the ability to hit at a decent level every now and then.
  19. Have a couple of solid offers in for Zach Davies. Get your bids in before he's moved, likely later today.
  20. I literally turned the game off at that point. I couldn't handle that level of incompetence, it's frustrating how often the Raptors have to play 5 on 8. Respect is a BS thing when it comes to officiating but you'd think one of the best teams in the league for the past 3 years would get some every now and then.
  21. Minnesota is getting every f***ing call, it's such ********.
  22. I specifically targeted him from Abom for a 4th round pick back in mid-October. I'm all in on this guy.
