  1. Your boy just totally f***ed up a play on defense.
  2. The Orioles FO just had a collective heart attack seeing DL Hall being hit by a broken comeback bat, clipped him on the legs but he seems fine.
  3. 89 pitches with the All-Star break coming up so we can use all of our relievers. Just let him end the half on a high note.
  4. Rowdy got a huge jump on that blooper lol.
  5. A fastball down the middle with two strikes to the hottest hitter in baseball. It's a bold strategy.
  6. Just another 10+ K performance, the day after he returns from paternity leave. If he stays healthy through the year he's well on his way to another Cy Young and at that point he's gotta be a lock for the Hall of Fame imo.
  7. Revisiting some all-time awful takes from gruber from a few years ago. Yikes.
  8. He actually does! I think their search is still a bit wonky and they might be having trouble updating MiLB guys since a lot of recent debutantes still show up as minors players instead of active MLB guys. https://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=sa3010692&position=3B/SS
  9. We'd like to move one of Dansby Swanson or Trea Turner. Looking for pitching help primarily.
  10. Ewwwwww
  11. Meh, we got our championship which he delivered. He basically waited it out long enough to f*** the Lakers over in the process as they missed out on every FA out there. Thank you Kawhi. Enjoy being back home.
  12. There most likely have been a number of plays that he hasn't made that an average CF would make.
  13. Jeter looked fine at SS for years too, and every single defensive metric available tells us he was hot garbage there. The eye test tells us Hernandez hasn't really done anything too well out there except catch routine balls, as a CF you have to do a lot more than that.
  14. Lol @ 2 earnies, he was f***ing garbage once again. 4 walks and a homerun allowed with only 5 strikeouts against the 5th worst offense in the league? f*** outta here.
  15. Last year for sure. This year he looked alright in LF and has probably been at best below-average in CF.
  16. His outfield defense is clearly not good, he looks exactly like a third baseman playing the outfield.
  17. Ugh, Jansen just got rocked by that foul ball.
  18. He's a great baserunner too!
  19. I can watch Biggio take pitches all day long.
  20. Elite overall or as a defender? I'd like to see how he adjusts once pitchers attack him differently, and the defense has been very promising for someone who at the very least hasn't played out there in a while, should hopefully only get better with more reps.
  21. This is why all the tanking talk is ********. If the team is among the worst in the league it means our young players are playing like garbage, and they were. Now we have Gurriel having a monster month and a half, Jansen rapidly heating up, Biggio being a plate discipline god, and even Grichuk having a hot couple of weeks. Vlad remains a bit disappointing given the expectations but he's still a league average hitter as a 20 year old so there's plenty to dream on there.
  22. Danny Jansen's offense is slowly catching up to his elite defense, he'll be over 1 WAR by the end of the night despite his wRC+ being 70. Only 4 catchers have provided more defensive value than Jano according to fangraphs which now adds catcher framing to the equation.
  23. Gurriel just missed that.
  24. Galvis is on fire.
  25. I feel like it's more that they just want to have Biggio play second and Drury playing third after a good game so he can focus on hitting.
