Does anyone remember Tyler Kolek? He was the 1-2 selection of the Marlins back in 2014, right out of high school. He's 23 now, apparently literally only throws fastballs, and has like 30 command at best. He's only gotten as far as A, with a shitload of injuries sprinkled in. His numbers this year between short season A and A, as a reliever mind you: 13.2 IP 20 K 27 BB 1 HBP 9 WP (that's wild pitches) 14 ER His K-BB% in A is -17.3% What a horrendous pick that was for the Marlins.

I assume sportrac's is fine, it has all of the big names and lists every player's retaining status (team or player option) if applicable. The teams are all updated so I assume this page is generated programmatically from their own records. One name that I haven't seen brought up much as possibly accepting an opt out is Stephen Strasburg, he's having one of his more durable years and putting up elite performance to go with it. That would put the top 3 names in FA as Rendon, Cole and Strasburg, all Boras clients lol.

Hanser Alberto of the Orioles is putting up one of the most empty high average seasons in a while. He has a .321 batting average, but only an overall 106 wRC+, in part because he's walking just 2.8% of the time en route to a .343 OBP and his middling power resulting in a .128 ISO. On the other hand, he also has ridiculous platoon splits, putting up a 167 wRC+ against lefties with an impressive .418 average, compared to a measly 64 wRC+ against RHP.
