  1. I'm not sure the latter point is correct, Maile was a better framer last season than Jansen was this season in fewer opportunities, and has consistently rated as an elite defensive catcher in limited playing time. The other stuff is semantics and intangibles so I'm not gonna disagree with you there, but again I'm sure the Jays were using the veteran angle for justifying starting Maile today.
  2. That review should not have taken nearly as long as it did, it was clear as day.
  3. I think it has to do with vetrin presents and Maile probably being a nice catcher to throw to as a young inexperienced starter.
  4. Zeuch is having an excellent outing, not what I expected at all.
  5. What an inning for Zeuch. Command your pitches like that consistently and the big man might yet provide some value.
  6. Gardner is an excellent player but my god does he whine. Chill out mega mind.
  7. Bro f*** inputting picks and determining prior to a draft which trades weren't processed.
  8. Austin Hays is putting on a show, O's fans probably needed that lol.
  9. Lmao we won the game, the Orioles are a mess.
  10. And Reese is dead.
  11. Reese McGuire should be in the running for RoTY at this point.
  12. That bench reaction was awesome.
  13. Holy f*** what a comedy of errors, the Jays have been bad this season but thankfully we're no Orioles, not even close.
  14. Maybe you should be our hitting coach.
  15. Unfortunately it's also incredibly wild. LOL @ the Orioles, and what an inning for the young offense.
  16. Find me a clip of Aaron Sanchez, Joe Biagini or Cal Stevenson doing that at the major league level. You can't.
  17. DEREK FISHER WITH THE CATCH OF THE SEASON!!!! We won the trade.
  18. So does Rendon, does he not?
  19. You think it'll be hard to overpay for two 29 year old stars coming off career years which will probably net them MVP and Cy Young respectively, both of them being Boras clients? I'm not sure I share that optimism, not that I even disagree with overpaying for either of them given what it would mean to the competitive window for the Jays.
  20. This is cherry picking. Yes, the AL Central is and has historically been a weaker division, but it's disingenuous to discredit the Twins' success over it. The Twins are 20-12 against the AL East and 23-11 against the AL West. The Yankees on the other hand are 52-19 against the East, of which they've shat on the Orioles and Jays, two awful teams, and then they're 18-15 against the ALC and only 16-11 vs. the ALW, divisions that the Twins dominated, so what gives? The Twins are genuinely a good team and as Boxcar has pointed out, it's in large part through an excellent offseason where they extended their young core and made great FA additions, all you need after that is a bit of luck to break your way and suddenly you're a contender.
  21. I f***ed myself because I ended up having to drive exactly at 7 pm. Lost out on Ibaka and Millspa ugh. Made the passenger pick up the rest lol.
  22. Because Urena doesn't play the same positions as Alford and Jonathan Davis actually had a decent year at AAA while demonstrating the same tools that everyone raves over Alford about - speed and CF defense.
  23. There's two more rounds.
