  1. The Yankees have so much class that they're booting the ball around like a bunch of little leaguers to pay respect to what is supposed to be a child's game.
  2. lol you really laid into him in the comments section. His last post there is an absolute embarrassment.
  3. 12 strikeouts for Corbin through 5. Nats starters have been a treat to watch.
  4. Tough inning for Corbin who was thoroughly dominating through 4.
  5. Lmao Gardner, I don't think I've seen him misread a ball that badly before.
  6. Cole just dismantled Aaron Judge, that was unfair.
  7. Did the Yankees even blow it? The game went to extra innings after their starter was knocked out before getting through 3 innings, I'd say they did pretty well considering Verlander was on the bump. Blowing it would be what the Dodgers did in game 5 against the Nationals, or the Braves against the Cards.
  8. Severino's stuff is way flatter than usual. The slider is more mid-high 80s than low 90s and I just saw a fastball clocked at 93 to open up against Reddick.
  9. I agree that it would be better if the games were closer, but I really enjoyed watching Strasburg's dominance, the Nats were just having an excellent game all-around except for the one miscue from Soto.
  10. Lol Soto, brutal slip and I hope he's okay but what a fall that was.
  11. That's just what he does, pretty much all the time. It seems to work for him so I'm not going to be the one to tell him to stop.
  12. Wow what the hell happened to Marcell Ozuna's arm? He used to have a cannon but that was such a weak noodle arm throw to the plate, after botching the catch on the slide where the ball was literally in his glove.
  13. Strasburg with the downright dominance in the first.
  14. I sure love it when the commercial break misses the walk-off homerun pitch.
  15. Hahahahahaha and the awful makeup call right after that. That was a horrendous sequence.
  16. Jesus Christ, Sanchez wasn't even f***ing close to touching that. Unbelievably bad call in a moment of this magnitude.
  17. Not sure if serious, but we got Trent Thornton who was more valuable this season as a rookie than Diaz was with us last season.
  18. Joe Buck just said Aledmys Diaz, being Cuban as well as Chapman, probably grew up hearing about the latter and now here he is facing him in a playoff game. They are two years apart...
  19. Pitchers don't tend to speak about the baseball much, only Verlander has ever really spoken out about it.
  20. I think the guys at BP and wherever else that determined that the ball is traveling different took this into account. Also I can't imagine Houston of all places is experiencing significant weather changes from the regular season.
  21. The ball definitely seems to be de-juiced, no way all of these flyouts at the wall stayed in the park in the regular season.
  22. The biased fan in me says the Yankees have had a horseshoe up their ass this game with how many line drives from the Astros have found a glove, but I'm pretty sure that's been the case for both teams.
  23. Exposed is a bit harsh. He's a rookie in the playoffs facing two of the best pitching staffs in the sport, it's pretty normal that he doesn't look like a world killer the way he did in the regular season.
