Are you aware of the fact that Kirk has the third highest offensive projection for a catcher in the entire league? Kirk having a 105 wRC+ is actually significant for a young catcher this early in his career, given that the baseline for offense at the position is much lower than others. He's been bad in like 15 PAs in 2022, aside from that all he's done is hit.

Somehow Zack Collins is outframing Sean Murphy in this game. Or MLB umps are just not very good at their job. It's probably the latter.

Kirk has a career wRC+ of 105 (SSS obviously), in what way is he having a bad career? He was also basically Robbie Ray's personal catcher when he had a Cy Young season. This is a terrible post.
