Help convince all the fan-boyz/prospectiers that he is a work in progress and needs some fine tuning to be ok at the major league level.

Here is another clip of him from last week as well. 5 pitch strikeout, 4 fastballs 1 slider. 1st pitch fastball he misses location horribly. - Bad (1-0) 2nd pitch away fastball that gets fouled off, intended location. - Good (1-1) 3rd pitch away fastball that just misses, intended location. Good in my books (2-1) 4th pitch up and away fastball, missed location badly which was supposed to be down and away, missed his location, but got a swinging strike, so lets be nice and say it's ok. (2-2) 5th pitch slider that he hangs for up and away for borderline strike, missed location. (2-3) So he got a strikeout, but it wasn't pretty and I would say this at-bat is a clear example of why scouting his stats line is incorrect. Look nothing has changed from him since March, he still has bad command/control that he won't get away with in the majors.

Here is a quick clip from Sunday's start He missed location on a fastball that was supposed to be down + away, but ended up being middle way off the plate which would have been a ball but somehow still got a strikeout on a swinging strike. He does stiff like this way too often, that won't add up to success in the majors.

Sure, but he has still terrible command/control since, so nothing has really changed.

But unfortunately he still has very bad command/control which is why he is not anywhere near mlb ready now.

Ill post a bit of it which is I find quite ironic given I saw the complete opposite in at the 10 ball game that in which SRF went super-saiyian several times while on the mound in anger. After 2 homeruns he gave up on gimme middle-middle sliders and after some of the walks. "His Buffalo manager, Bobby Meacham, had heard about Reid-Foley’s past problems in dealing with the frustrations of failure. Meacham says he has seen none of that, even after those early rocky starts. “Sean’s been calm,” he said. “He’s been steady. I didn’t have him before so I don’t know what he was like. I heard the stories that he’d get a little bit out of whack in just the way he went about his business, so to speak. I have not seen that here. I’ve seen a guy that’s really focused and likes his routine and sticks with it.”"

Naw it's pretty much the exact same people calling me out for saying Teoscar wouldn't regress, lol. Now the question is whether they are trolling me or just this stubborn/stupid/fanboyism?

Naw he still looked terrible in that game I saw him besides the first inning. But look his AAA numbers mean diddly squat because he can get crappy hitters to chase his slider. If he was given mlb starts he would probably walk 6-7 / 9 with more walks then strikeouts. Maybe he could improve in the future but right now he is not anywhere near ready.

He is a 22 year old lottery ticket that would walk more guys then he strikesouts if he was given a chance in the majors this year.

I highly doubt it considering how bad he looked in March when I saw him. He is a poor mans Joba Chamberlain imo, fastball that has no clue where it going, and a slider that crappy hitters will chase. Versus good hitters he will look silly since they won't chase his slider as much and let him walk the world. But like every fan base your prospect will never fail, and your not allowed to talk bad about them.

He did something that albeit it fluky I agree, it proves more to the fact he has shown an inability to throw strikes throughout his milb career. I am saying be REALISTIC and stop f***ing thinking he is the second coming of syndergaard or your ideal dreamy power pitcher. His major flaw won't magically disappear overnight.

Yes it is a small sample but how often in baseball history have you seen a pitcher open a game with 10 straight balls? SRF has a major weakness, which is an inability to constantly throw quality strikes. Have any of you guys actually seen him pitch before? Doesn't seem like it lol

Yes I understand how it all works. I just think that BTS is on crack hoping that guys like Zeuch, Harris and Pannone will become back-end starters. I agree with most of the stuff he has said over the last 10~ years, but I just disagree with him here and his opinion of Hech back in 2010/11. But look I thought Randy Ruiz, Travis Snider, Brad Mills, JPA would be good players, use that against me gogogo.

Yes he could improve, but just assuming he would go from terrible milb command to average mlb command just because he is "young" is where I disagree with you. But, time will tell!

No its warning flag that no one should ignore, how often can you say you've seen a pitcher throw 10 straight balls to open a game? Look he is a pitcher that has some strengths and weaknesses. One of his major weaknesses is his control/command. I saw him several times in March, chatted with him briefly too at the milb complex in Dunedin along with Charlie Wilson(who ive known for 20 years). Put your blue jays hat away for a minute,think rationally please and stop f***in scouting the stats line.
