Travis has hit a more then respectable 281/331/445 since his AAA stint (he came back May 22nd) which goes in line near his career line. He had a bad start, and has been good since May 22nd. I agree his defense isn't that good, but Gurribabip is terrible too.
I agree that Travis has a injury history, but its comical just to throw him under the bus for Gurribabip. Gurribabip has a 439 babip before today's game in July, with a track record of being god awful hitter since he came to North America. I think Devon Travis is a good comp/ceiling for Gurribabip since they both don't walk and like to swing the bat more then take pitches.
