The entire draft honestly could be a fireable offense for some scouting people or a GM..
You basically punt / draft guys that will sign cheaper rounds 2-10 to save money to spend it else-wise. Their is a good chance that they Jays wont spend that extra money(assuming Bickford, Brentz, and Tellez) don't sign.
The Jays draft strategy might backfire on them, and the results (from a month after the draft) are looking very bad.
