  1. With the stuff Stro has and how wildly JPA swings could be an easy K
  2. DAYUM Stroman is nasty. He's pitching like he's been around for a few years. He doesn't look like a young kid out there.
  3. No need to pitch to Joey without protection behind him. Make a mistake to Bautista it's 2 runs. Mistake to Narvarro, one run most likely plus with how poorly he runs an easy ground ball out.
  4. Eh, my mistake I wasn't paying attention to the count. Now bring him in after that double!
  5. At least the Rangers' defense isn't play well. Makes ours look a bit better.
  6. lol JPA couldn't catch a pitch to his chest, or balls in the dirt behind the plate but he managed that? haha all I can do is laugh
  7. "Kawi, you got it? Gose? Someone? I don't want it? Oh f***, I'll take it then!"
  8. Another good play by Johnson! Kind of "awe s*** no one is taking it?"
  9. Ouch! The grounds crew will be getting a nasty letter from Rios and the Rangers. I feel for the Rangers with all their injuries. Seems like Rios might be OK but damn they keep piling up injuries.
  10. Considering how Santos has sucked out loud lately, they might stick him on the DL with "a forearm strain" again. McGowan for the same purpose/reason with sucking out loud lately and it's 17 July and he has been on the DL so far this year. Jenkins, options so always a chance to head down.
  11. Depends on if they're sticking him in the pen or rotation. Happ to the DL or even AAA Santos to the DL Jenkins to AAA Kratz to AAA Gose to AAA Mastroianni to AAA I swear if they send Stroman to AAA and stick Mills in his rotation spot, I'll call for a revolt!
  12. The Jays are desperate and trying to win as many games as possible especially after their mini collapse this year. I get they're trying as many things as they can think of (except things that might actually work. OK had to make a s***** stab there) but this really doesn't make much sense. Sanchez is having issues with his control, like he has his entire career. He's still a young kid and no need to rush him. Hell, I'd have kept him in AA a bit longer. It almost seems like some have mentioned that they're trying to get this young, potential stud, as much hype as possible and see him moving along as quickly as possible hoping that can convince someone to take him in a trade so he can help a team now rather than year or so down the road. If they really think he could help the big club, why not have him in the rotation where he has the most value? If it works, it works. Wins are wins. If he comes up and heads back down, they could burn an option when it's not necessary. I guess since their options are really limited they're going to do whatever but it seems like if you're trying to stick someone in the pen, we have a few guys that could be worth a look there other than Sanchez. Only thing to do is sit back and watch really. I hope whatever they're doing works out and it's not moves of desperation, half assing it, and/or trying to make it look like they're doing everything they can think of to stay in contention.
  13. Watch JPA have a decent series against the Jays and AA jump on the phone offering something to reacquire him since he seems to be in the get back the old players we used to have who sucked while here kick.
  14. I wonder if picking up Michael Taylor at the trade deadline will be his Big Trade. Then he has them all! Bad joke sorry.
  15. Obviously a depth move since both of Buffalo's 1B are now playing for the Jays but is AA drastically trying to bring back anyone he's already had or wanted ie JPR move? There weren't any other fillers or AAA guys except the guy he acquired and then traded away?
  16. I do see them trying to use Sanchez as bait. They promoted him to AAA without really earning it, they're talking about him being able to contribute this year at the ML level, either in the pen (to begin with) or as a starter at some point. AA has gone to see him pitch and keeps name dropping him. Young guy with potential so teams will be interested. If they do move him it better be for a solid return and not just some rental they hope to bring back next year.
  17. lol! Yes! My bad! my brain read the wrong name.
  18. I kind of have that feeling too. He's the most "expendable" right now since he's not named Norris, Sanchez, or Nolan and seems to have fallen off AA's depth chart a bit.
  19. What's this about cocaine?!
  20. He'll wake up Monday refreshed, energized and full of pep but won't be able to take it out on the Jays.
  21. It'll be a shame if he goes the way that so many talented guys have before him. Great stuff just can't locate it or walk guys left and right. Hopefully he can figure it out this year and be an asset if not I Don't see him sticking around much longer.
