Seems to be a trend with Reyes. Either he's finding holes in the IF or he's doing whatever the f*** someone would call htat "swing" thing he does. Kind of a half bunt, half check swing at balls.

Tolly seems to do everything for this team: pitches, runs halfway decently, scores go ahead runs, pinch hitter. Maybe he sticks around for a bench role next year or heads to the NL to be a hitting relief pitcher

lol he has an excuse this time with Bentances but it seems like that's the result every time he comes to bat. Stand there and take called 3rd strike or swing at something and look bad.

Especially after watching whatever the hell Reyes did right there we need someone who knows what they're doing and can do the fundamentals. He should be able to help the club. Anyone who can help on both sides would be great. He seems to be one who could.

That's not a horrible contract and he still has something left in the tank. At this point I'd take anyone who can consistently field the position, make the routine plays, and not look stupid at times. Any offensive help would be a bonus. It seems like AA might have to try and sign some guys because like you said he might hang onto what's left of the prospects. Right, can't miss deal, fine but with the lack of depth, the fact that if what's left are traded, we have a barren farm that will kill the team for a few years.
