  1. It's only a matter of when he graces us with it. Could it be immediately after the season? Could it be in an interview a couple weeks after? will it be at the winter meetings? Will it be repeatedly in some form or another, rinse and repeat? Probably all of the above.
  2. "Well, if you look at what ______ and ______ did during the minor league season last year, in a handful of ABs in September, I mean they're not a lot of ABs and we don't want to get ahead of ourselves, but if you look at what they've done, and we didn't call them up just to do so, we think they're MLB ready, if you look at that we have some good, home grown young players to supplement our core, and are under contract for 5-6 years and at reasonable numbers since they won't be arbitration eligible for a number of years, and if you look at how they fit the mold and needs and if you compare what they could give us in a full season, even with some bumps along the way, and compared to some of the FAs out there and some of the trades that didn't' line up because they didn't' want what we had and we weren't going to take away from the 25-man roster, you'll see that these internal options are even better than some of the guys we could bring in elsewhere and they're not costing us large sums of money nor prospects plus they're home grown and who doesn't like them?!" Yes, all one huge run on sentence.
  3. Lester or Scherzer? Hell no! This team can barely sign minor league free agents and fringe players. Melky seemed to only come because he was coming off the suspension and offered a 2-year deal. Most of the guys brought in haven't been near the level those two are. It also doesn't seem to be AA's MO unless they sign elsewhere and AA ships out prospects for their contracts that were more than what AA wanted to sign them for.
  4. I want to see the Jays plate a few more so maybe they can start moving some of the call ups out there to see what they can do with some kind of a cushion/less pressure.
  5. If this Dickey pitched every night we'd be a lot better off.
  6. I'm waiting for an outburst of a few games of flat out crushing everything.
  7. EE's eye is as good as ever.
  8. It would be my second wish come true this season. First being the Jays making the playoffs obviously.
  9. Come on, RA , put up a zero, no breakdowns this inning.
  10. f*** YEAH!!!! Reyes got some tough calls going his way and took advantage!
  11. Come one, Reyes! Don't strike out!
  12. Back-to-back IF hits in about the same spot. Not bad. Now we need a hit to take the lead. LET'S GO GUYS!
  13. He's busting his ass like he wants a job next year
  14. Nice going, Pillar! Made that look easy.
  15. Come on KAWI! Get it started!
  16. f*** you, Lind! The one thing you don't do there! Ugh!
  17. Now he's screwed and has to go after Lind. Chance to get some runs in.
  18. Nice! Went down and got it. Now let's see what EE could do.
  19. Melky, one of the bright spots this year. I hope he gets resigned but I'm not going to hold my breath. :/
  20. How exactly did they get these jobs? State the obvious, parrot it from the other guy? lol No! They want to have guys sit on the bench while wash up players are playing so they can pay the minor leaguers more money for no reason
  21. Did AA give any reason why guys like Drabek and/or Delabar weren't called up?
  22. OK Reyes don't get thrown out trying to go to second.
