"Well, if you look at what ______ and ______ did during the minor league season last year, in a handful of ABs in September, I mean they're not a lot of ABs and we don't want to get ahead of ourselves, but if you look at what they've done, and we didn't call them up just to do so, we think they're MLB ready, if you look at that we have some good, home grown young players to supplement our core, and are under contract for 5-6 years and at reasonable numbers since they won't be arbitration eligible for a number of years, and if you look at how they fit the mold and needs and if you compare what they could give us in a full season, even with some bumps along the way, and compared to some of the FAs out there and some of the trades that didn't' line up because they didn't' want what we had and we weren't going to take away from the 25-man roster, you'll see that these internal options are even better than some of the guys we could bring in elsewhere and they're not costing us large sums of money nor prospects plus they're home grown and who doesn't like them?!"
