    I would've given up the Jays' equivalent of Avisail Garcia for Iglesias. Can AA please address the gaping hole in the MIF. Is he really going to make us watch a whole year of Bonifacio/Izturis?

    His 2nd inning was better, would've been a clean inning if Tellez didn't make an error. Got out of another jam without any runs. GCL Braves Top of the 5th Ian Hagenmiller strikes out swinging. Omar Obregon grounds out, shortstop Franklin Barreto to first baseman Rowdy Tellez. Cody Livesay reaches on a fielding error by first baseman Rowdy Tellez. Cody Livesay to 2nd. With Reed Harper batting, passed ball by Andres Sotillo, Cody Livesay to 3rd. Reed Harper walks. Pitching Change: Cale Wine replaces Matthew Smoral. Obviously the BB's suck and the K's are great. I'll take no hits or runs though.

    He's the type of big bodied power FB pitcher AA loves. I guess Janssen for Thompson + could work but, still not that enticing.

    No reason to trade Bautista for Castellanos. It would have to be for a lot more and the Tigers don't have many young assets to move. We're talking a huge Scherzer + Castellanos for Bautista + Janssen type humongous big deal.

    All AA sees is the ugly ERA, 6ft frame and 90mph FB.

    The only available Tigers' asset I am interested in is Castellanos. If a reliever + could get that done I'd part with anyone from the pen.

    AA wants to compete next year. It would be hard to lose Stroman + Buehrle and remain competitive. The extra payroll space ($12.65M) would be a big bonus. Maybe the Jays could use most of that money on Garza? Then the question becomes is MB + Stroman + Janssen worth Garza + Kendrick? I'm beginning to buy in on Stroman as a legit MLB SP. IMO his performance shouldn't be that far off from Garza's over the next 3 years and he'll be a lot cheaper. For that reason I'll pass, I'd still like to see MB and Janssen moved probably get more value in separate deals though.

    Young controllable MLB-ready SP. IMO Nolin, Stroman, Hutch are what they would be after not MB or SD. Buehrle's contract has negative value so it would take quite a bit more than him to land Kendrick.

    Good catchers are rarely dealt in season, changes there will have to wait until the off-season. AA definitely has a chance to address the MIF and rotation right now, he seems quite comfortable waiting until the off-season though. Oliver should definitely be moved, may as well get some value back before he retires.

    Towers has been avoiding resigning him for a couple seasons now. Definitely seems like they would prefer to trade him over giving him a long term contract.

    I'm really hoping LAA still values MB fairly high and would take his contract on. Dream trade; MB + Nolin + Carreno for Kendrick. Makes no sense for LAA, other than being desperate for MLB pitching, though.

    Ya, he seemed like a guy who could be an MLB MIF'er as soon as next season. Doesn't look like he'll be a star but that's a pretty sexy age vs level. If Janssen is enough for Kennedy I wonder if Janssen + Oliver + Bonifacio could land you both. Either way Janssen + filler for Kennedy would be a decent deal for the Jays. I think Kennedy will bounce back to a mid-4 ERA in the AL East.

    Don't know much about Owings defence but, Chris Owings + Ian Kenndy seems like it could help the Jays. Any idea what the D-Backs want for Kennedy?
