  1. Not a bad comparison. Nolin is limited by his command. Boyd is like a more refined Nolin with less flashy stuff.
  2. Mills throws it 88mps, Boyd throws it 95mph. Even if Boyd doesn't have dominating stuff as a lefty with good command and velocity he has a decent shot at being a back end starter.
  3. If Norris + Castro + DSJ + Labourt/Nay gets it done I;d jump at that package.
  4. I'd try to give up Boyd as the main piece going the other way. However, it's going to cost way more than that to land a truly elite closer. Only way I see it happening is in a massive package for a starter + closer. Hamels + Paelbon; Cueto + Chapman; Ramos + Latos
  5. Beane had to have made Donaldson available before talking to AA. Only has himself to blame!
  6. And a 2.8 FIP, he was a very good reliever even when you factor in luck.
  7. Where did I say he is going to become great? Where did I compare him to CY Halladay? He compares well to 22yo Halladay who needed to make adjustments to reach his ceiling. It's statistically improbable Sanchez has anywhere near the same success as Halladay but that doesn't mean it wont or can't happen or that it is unreasonable to look at other pitchers who have been in a similar situation at the same age.
  8. Sanchez is exactly where Halladay was when he was 22yo. He needs to make adjustments but so does every 22yo pitcher. He has elite stuff and I'm excited to see if he can put it all together.
  9. Still at work. I'll send you something this weekend if you'd like. Basically what it comes down to is you can't take caffeine for an extended period of time without OD'ing or experiencing the effects of withdrawal. When you start withdrawal caffeine brings you just past normal levels but you quickly drop below them again. When you OD you get all jittery and can't concentrate. Which is why Red Bulling it is a terrible idea unless you don't need to concentrate.
  10. I don't think Jimenez can stay healthy at this point so I bumped him. TBH though Jansen and Nessy should be flipped in my rankings. I didn't realize Jansen had such a monster year.
  11. I'm not going to waste my time digging up evidence for someone who is on here to fight. If he was interested in an actual conversation I'd probably be kind enough but I'm going to use the fact that Moogy has to be right all the time and can't let things go to try and help him help himself.
  12. Tell me again about Red Bulling it before a game and how this is some how going to increase your concentration levels for an extended period of time. Everyone knows that caffeine provides a temporary boost for concentration. It does not provide a lasting boost to concentration. If you consume more as you suggest you will likely be overdosing, and you've already admitted overdosing is bad for concentration. Not to mention the dehydration effects on concentration. Having to pee or s*** if you're thehurla nd the tolls it will take on concentration. So again go do your own research, something that actually proves your point and get back to me.
  13. All taht researching sure. You;re the one furiously Googling b/c it's still clear you don't know what you are talking about.
  14. If you've done the research you would know that taking caffeine before a game isn't going to help your concentration levels. But you haven't done the research.
  15. Again do your own research. Do I look like a monkey to you. Start by reading the ones you linked and figuring out why you are a moron.
  16. Again it really doesn't. And again that's okay.
  17. Why would I bother? Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience. --GEORGE CARLIN Either way in your mind you're right. I suggest you educate yourself instead of relying on other people.
  18. Red Bull does not increase concentration. It increases alertfulness and wakefulness. Theya re not the same thing. Chug a RE Bull and tell me how well you concentrate.
  19. Given this is your afternoon coffee and it is routine then the reason why you feel more alert right now is b/c your body is addicted to caffeine. And yes it has to do with feedback loops. Again go ahead and prove me wrong. I'm still waiting
  20. In the context of a baseball game Red Bulld oes not increase concentration. It's ok to be wrong.
  21. I never said caffeine decreases concentration. You said And Is aid Red Bulling it wouldn't increase concentration. And it wont. Nothing youc an say will make yourself magically right. Really though I just hope you can find happiness cause it's pretty evident you're miserable IRL and need a way to boost your ego.
  22. I didn't contradict myself. All this, because caffeine improves concentration. Seriously. All this b/c you can't admit to being wrong about anything, ever. Give it a rest. We all already know you're a moron. At this point the only person you are trying to prove you are intelligent to is yourself and you don't even buy it. Which is why you spend your day arguin withs trangers on the internet. Get a life.
  23. Withdrawal is a series of feedback loops, many of which are of the negative variety. You need to go get help, you've got big time mental health issues.
