  1. So would you bet on Stroman getting hurt before Carrasco? Arm injury wise?
  2. He and Stroman are 2 elite pitchers going into next year. My problem with Carrasco is he's had arm injuries before and throws a lot harder. So there's a lot more risk imo.
  3. Because Carrasco is making money, cheap money but money. Carrasco is also injury prone and a bit older. Personally i'd prefer to have Stroman on my roster then CC moving forward.
  4. Where did u see that? It doesn't make any sense.
  5. I would really like to see the outline of that deal. To see which prospects of ours, Shapiro overvalued.
  6. I think you're going to miss Cito and Beest the most on this board?
  7. He has played in some pretty big ballparks though, so i could definitely see a jump up.
  8. The thing is you can't pay for the hope of a 140-150 wRC+, he has to prove it first. He's going to get a to much money for my liking.
  9. Makes some sense. Miggy with his ankle, Big Papi with his achilles, Pujols with planter fasc. These are big boys, but you can only imagine that the more weight your putting on your lower body, the higher chance of injuries.
  10. I'll bet on Joey Bats 1 year 14 million dollar contract being worth every penny instead.
  11. Heyward, and your giving up your late 1st rounder. Also probably around 200 million dollars. Sounds smart to me!
  12. Why can't we just be happy with two of the best hitters in the game? You will get your two prospects if we don't extend them.
  13. I think Tony is the right guy for this year for sure.
  14. They were trying to increase his trade value by thinking that Coors Field is a much greater hitters park then RC. That should tell you quite a bit about there front office.
  15. Colorado also thinks Reyes isn't dead money. Who gives a f*** what Colorado thinks, there not smart.
  16. Do the projections know Tulo had a cracked shoulder and was coming off hip surgery? Tulo's last 2 years he's had 909 PA's and put up 7.6 WAR. The man is a god when he's on the field.
  17. I think he gets that easily. SS is the most wanted position in the MLB, there aren't many good ones. So Tulo is probably a lot more valuable then you think.
  18. I also don't think Colorado knew how bad Reyes and his contract were.
  19. They got Hoffman who had tons of value on the trade market and looks like he could be a stud. Castro and Tinoco aren't throw in's either. Tulo is 31 not old by any means, he plays a smart game that should keep him on the field. It was a pretty freak accident what happened to him, o ya and he played through it and played well.
  20. You know Tulo is amazing right?
  21. I hope somebody asks if they're keeping all there scouts/draft team.
  22. Im thinking more long term then you. I think your going to see Stroman eat a ton of innings up next year, Ala Keuchel. Strikeouts are obviously amazing, but weak groundballs are amazing as well. Gives you a chance to get 2 outs with 1 pitch.
