He and Stroman are 2 elite pitchers going into next year. My problem with Carrasco is he's had arm injuries before and throws a lot harder. So there's a lot more risk imo.
Because Carrasco is making money, cheap money but money. Carrasco is also injury prone and a bit older. Personally i'd prefer to have Stroman on my roster then CC moving forward.
Makes some sense. Miggy with his ankle, Big Papi with his achilles, Pujols with planter fasc. These are big boys, but you can only imagine that the more weight your putting on your lower body, the higher chance of injuries.
They were trying to increase his trade value by thinking that Coors Field is a much greater hitters park then RC. That should tell you quite a bit about there front office.
Do the projections know Tulo had a cracked shoulder and was coming off hip surgery? Tulo's last 2 years he's had 909 PA's and put up 7.6 WAR. The man is a god when he's on the field.
I think he gets that easily. SS is the most wanted position in the MLB, there aren't many good ones. So Tulo is probably a lot more valuable then you think.
They got Hoffman who had tons of value on the trade market and looks like he could be a stud. Castro and Tinoco aren't throw in's either. Tulo is 31 not old by any means, he plays a smart game that should keep him on the field. It was a pretty freak accident what happened to him, o ya and he played through it and played well.
Im thinking more long term then you. I think your going to see Stroman eat a ton of innings up next year, Ala Keuchel. Strikeouts are obviously amazing, but weak groundballs are amazing as well. Gives you a chance to get 2 outs with 1 pitch.
