    DD the new Ruben Amaro? Where the hell does DD see the Boston Red Sox on the win curve is all i want to know. They weren't very good last year.

    I doubt one guy in the org is the reason for anything. The way Cleveland is developing isn't necessarily the right way, they don't have many guys outperforming there peripherals. So maybe their saber strong ways, aren't that.

    He's signed long term on a pretty nice contract. He's young, played in a terrible hitter park...tons of upside there.

    Yes, but why give up a Stroman when A. we need him B. Atlanta would certainly take a prospect package.

    Newcomb looks like a reliever to me, great deal for LAA. Eppler is a force to be reckoned with.

    He probably can't play a quality CF anymore and is a platoon bat who strikes out a ton. I'd want that money for something else if I was them.

    It was very hard to watch him play. The stuff at the plate didn't bother me as much, as he had to adjust to MLB pitching and i think he will adjust pretty well. Now for being a minor league gold glover, he played scared, didn't take charge, and instead of gliding back for balls he would do a weird backpedal that left him unbalanced and caused him to miss a couple balls that were very catch-able. I think he will be a solid 2-3 WAR player but the defense will be average, and he'll be stuck in left.

    If he was playing adequate defense in LF and wasn't crying every time he struck out, he would have been playing over Carerra/Bello.

    Not from what I saw last year. There was a reason he was demoted and was playing LF the rest of the year in the minors. I saw it and the Jays brass saw it.

    Pompey=Dexter Fowler with more speed but can't play CF. He's got quite a bit of value but is definitely on the trade table.

    Paxton is getting worked quite a bit, sitting at 93-95mph.

    Some jays AFl'ers playing on MLB network right now. Tellez walked against Paxton, Fields reached on an error by an errant throw from the infielder.

    He's a good defender and framer so there's some underlying value there but his bat is bad. Looks like a fine backup, but to give an everyday player with a lot of control, is a big overpay.

    I'd have to put in PA's minimum as well, say 550?

    I would yes, with a clause that if he hits 5 WAR you double it so say 20 bucks for the 4 WAR part and if he hits 5 you owe me 40?
