    There's just so many GM's on the hot seat, dealing with the different directions of there franchise.Like Preller, that guy is a crazy dude. Could he do anything close to an encore? Knowing we are the top or one of the top, is a pretty awesome feeling.

    I think the Jays are looking for guys with plus changes these days. They tend to outperform there fip's. They had interest in Fiers at the deadline, acquired Price. Both have plus change/fastball combos. So if your looking for guys they'll have a lot of interest in first, look for plus changeup guys.

    Every team is going to have some negative assets, a lot of those guys were inherited from the old dodgers regime. I'll give them another year to get there feet under them.

    I am guessing, but i believe they're worried about the wear and tear on Martin. Also 12 million isn't GREAT value for your buck.

    Martin calls a great game as does Navarro. Martin is just far superior at framing and throwing guys out. Also Navarro has only really caught Estrada/Buerhle, two easy guys to receive and call games for.

    We know Arizona will sign one of the FA catchers, probably Navarro in all honesty.

    He's pretty bad defensively. If Martin goes down your royal screwing yourself on both sides of the ball.

    Avila is interesting to me, especially coming from that massive park.

    I'd prefer a better backup. Especially with Martin getting older and his bad hammy's. I don't think you can project him to catch 120 games in a year anymore.
