  1. All of our starters aren't really injury prone, maybe if we had a Syndy, Harvey, Degrom, i'd be more worried. But we got athletic soft tossers - Happ.
  2. Arrieta was throwing his more at the end of the season, it's getting better. That man could be even scarier.
  3. I wonder how much surplus value Puig will have in jail. Character does matter.
  4. They will upgrade the team wherever the best available value is. That's been their mo the last year and a bit.
  5. I like this move. A lot of upside with this signing.
  6. Puig in trouble. Puig for Harvey still happening BTS?
  7. Yes, i was just pointing out he had a lot of s*** happening to him. It has nothing to do with his actual baseball skills diminishing.
  8. EE had a lot of injuries. A hernia, a finger, and his back, take it easy on him.
  9. Chavez, Kimbrel. Things are going to go off soon I can feel it.
  10. Now you're just being disrespectful to Joey and Eddy.
  11. The Dodgers wish they were paying guys like Bautista and Edwin. Instead of the Ethiers, Carl Crawfords, Hector Oliveras. These guys are dead contracts, our top 10 hitters in the league won't be. They might decline to top 30 hitters near the end of their contracts, but that would still probably be worth it.
  12. These guys are getting payed for their bats. Yes injuries will occur but the decline on their bats shouldn't be to crazy.
  13. You have to pay for talent.
  14. I think you keep them, they're reasonable human beings, so you should get a discount.
  15. Bautista 3yrs 65-70 million Edwin 4yrs 80 million
  16. I have seen some dumb people have amazing baseball IQ, it's just a part of their brain that functions better. Lawrie is clogging his brain cells up with red bulls and pumped up tunes.
  17. Guessing along with the pitcher, swiping bags when the pitcher forgets about you in the proper situation, having a 2 strike approach, hitting cutoffs, knowing when to take risks and when not to ( diving for a ball or just let it fall and keep a force on).
  18. That's not baseball IQ. That's learning how to play baseball and being a gifted athlete.
  19. Again, not the smartest player.
  20. I think it's about baseball IQ more then being a jackass.
  21. They're better options in the off-season right now then thinking about reacquiring Lawrie.
  22. Why doesn't anybody want this Lawrie guy? Is it because he's injury prone? An *******? Or just not that good at baseball?
  23. Probably guaranteed him a spot in the rotation.
