Yep, Donaldson is not a disruption to this team. He's an intense energy bunny, not a Jose Reyes igniter who will do it with flash but with substance and cerebral-ness.

Although i will give Puig some credit for learning how to hit the cutoff man, that's a small step in the right direction.

It's not really about character for me. It's about making smart baseball plays on the field and adjustments. Puig misses in one of those categories at least.

LA is a different market then TB is or was. Friedman has money and is expected to deliver a winner. Whereas in TB Friedman was just collecting value to be competitive with their payroll. Same thing with Farhan in OAK, it's a different pressure.

But Preller still has a job so there's a possible trade partner. Maybe Tyson Ross plus a spec.

Yep, but that team has a ton of pressure to win, if they feel Puig is hampering them somehow, they will move him for less then his perceived value.

I also wouldn't be wanting to trade for a Puig unless the dodgers were willing to take a huge hit value wise.

It's really hard for me to see them getting full value for Puig at this point. If Puig didn't have all these clubhouse problems then maybe, but there is a lot of risk with him.

I think there is definitely a bit of growth to come in Pillars offensive game. He needs to use the whole field a bit more which will lead to those high babips he had in the minors. At the beginning of the year he was super pull happy and i think he has slowly gotten better throughout the year. Anyways congrats on the awesome year KP.

Almost 28 year old Ryan Goins and his 1.5 WAR is the definition of a guy you sell high on. Maybe we could get a year of Cashner or someone relate-able. -

Voted EE, he was a consistent threat in the lineup. The whole series Texas was pitching around him. On second glance though, Pillar had a monster series and I would change it to him.

Yeah he's made all the plays but maybe one in playoffs. I'd still like a lock down defense in this game though.
