Yeah, Borucki and Vasquez (he has one option remaining) are the two that I'm cutting when they drop to the 26 man roster, assuming neither of them just tears it up between now and then.
Stumbled out of the box a couple of times in one of his earlier games, but didn't seem any worse for wear. I haven't noticed any limping or issues running.
He also allowed that he may be specifically working on offspeed pitches today. Spring Training could have a very different plan per outing than regular season.
There is no way that the Jays are going to ditch Pete Walker over this. There's a small chance he could have an issue getting into Canada, which would complicate things, but to suggest that they'd cut ties over something like this is laughable.
Orelvis is going to be so good when he's ready...
Also, too, there hasn't been a single "USA! USA!! UUUUSSSSAAA!!!!" chat today. Are these Yankees fans not aware that they're playing the Blue Jays? It's almost like they're not braying jackasses today for some reason, but that can't be right.
All I know is even if I might fail a Breathalyzer, there's no way I'd fail a field sobriety test after 4 beers. (well, I haven't had a drink in almost 2 years, so maybe NOW, but not even close when I was still drinking...)
If he's used correctly, I honestly think he'll be a great addition to the team. I don't trust Montoyo to use anyone correctly; more often than not that has saved me a lot of frustration.
I think his hair is dope as f***, and I still worry that Montoyo is going to have him leading off 4 times a week.
Though, I am cautiously optimistic that getting him away from the Rockies could turn him into something that's about on par with Grichuk.
