I think they like both players as guys who could make some adjustments and be decent hitters, so I think they probably carry both, unless they think they can get Tapia through waivers (and with his $4M salary it's possible...).
Biggio is a positive fielder at 2B. He also has one of the best eyes in baseball, and has already hit for much more power than Espinal in their respective careers.
