    He knows. Sanchez had shoulder surgery and is out for a while. Probably will pitch in 2020, but he won't be ready for spring training.

    Yeah, every pitcher should be Nolan Ryan, the most durable pitcher in the history of the game, or they suck f***ing balls! Edit: And also, like, I recall Leiter missing years to injury early in his career, I think blisters, but maybe wrong... So maybe that 160 pitch game wasn't a great idea?

    Stevenson is EXACTLY the kind of piece we should have gotten as a throw in in that trade.. A guy who is probably nothing but with some small chance he contributes down the road. I mean, the Astros got a guy like Stevenson as a throw in in the Sanchez trade.

    If you're giving up on a 20 year old Vlad who just put up a 105 wRC+ in the majors when most players his age are in the low minors, I'm not exactly sure who you DON'T trade... Hell, start the rebuild all over again, it's failed guys! Now, if the Angels offered us Trout + $300M then I'm probably accepting, but...

    The return is key. If it's s***, hold on to him (though there'll probably be some team willing to overpay at the deadline, so you might move him then...) No sense moving him if the best you'll get is a C- prospect.

    After the Ryu and Shun deals have been made official, the Jays are at 40/40 on the roster. Travis Shaw still hasn't been officially added. Now we play the "who is DFA'd first" game... Urena is my first choice to go, but there are definitely some options on who gets dumped.
