    If you're in the area (well, it's outside of the city, so you'd have to make it a specific trip) the Beau's brewery isn't too far from Ottawa IIRC. Beau's Lugtread is my favourite beer, and you all know how much I used to love beer, so that's saying something!

    This does not seem to be a stat that will stabalize very quickly, and the article seems to go out of its way to point out that running stats are essentially useless in a single season.

    Tool is also suuuuuuper popular with other musicians for obvious reasons. I love Tool (to the point that I hired the woman who produced their first 2 albums to work on a project of mine a decade or so ago) because Danny Carey is one of the best drummers on the planet, and their production is absolutely stellar.

    I've been playing in bands for close to 30 years, and at least in that scene the septum piercing was actually more popular about 15-20 years ago than it seems to be now. My bassist is a tattoo artist, so I might see a disproportionate number of people from the body modification community than even others in the music scene, but it seems to be a lot more about tattoos than piercings these days.

    I hate the challenge system, it feels like a half-assed "solution" to a very, very real problem. There's no need to appease the umps.

    I think so? I only went to one game last season, and I noticed that the pennant up in the middle with 12 on it was gone, don't think I saw him on the Level of Excellence either.

    He seems like a weird dude, but a septum piercing is pretty mainstream these days, at least in my circles. I don't have one (thought about it), but have my tongue and used to have my nipple done.

    Alomar's number isn't in the rafters anymore, is it still retired? They seem to have erased him from team history for the most part...

    He was the #1 starter, and often enough the #1 lines up with the opposing team's #1, so it makes a certain amount of sense that the offence would be suppressed a bit when facing the other team's best pitcher... Obviously not ALWAYS the case, but can account for some of it.

    3 options, not even arb eligible until 2025, can start or relieve. Certainly checks a few boxes there. But average FB velocity is 92, that's not doing much for anyone in this day and age...
