Dickey never put up ace numbers before his Cy Young season.

Exactly, one great year. We bought Dickey as his absolute highest.

He had one great year! When you trade away the talent we did, I'd expect a little more consistency, Dickey hasn't just underperformed he's been brutal.

Bickford probably has a higher ceiling than Shipley - Shipley is just more polished.

I can't believe Denney has lasted so long, probably the best hitting catcher in the draft and the tools to potentially be an above average defender. Drafting him makes the second pick alright.

His weighted average last year was .257, I'd still bring him up - but he'll likely struggle at the plate and offer mediocre defense.

You're right my bad he was -.01 last year and .07 in the year before after being 1.5 his first year. He's gotten worse ever year.

Thole has posted a negative WAR the last two seasons, TDA is probably more valuable already. Why we traded for Thole to play in triple A all year makes no sense - we essentially traded Syndergaard for a AAA catcher.

I hate Dickey the most, cost us D'Arnaud and Syndergaard, 20 million dollars the next two years. Currently pitches to an ERA over 5, he's absolutely useless old man.

Crawford won't need to slip to be selected 10th but Mcguire and Ball might.

What can be done about our catcher other than replace him Thole? Dickey won 20 games with Thole last year and still preferred Blanco, that tells you something about Thole.
