    Agreed we have so much bullpen depth we would be stupid not to - I'd also like to see what returns Bautista could bring.

    Sell high? What's he worth at this point? They need to call him up and he needs to hit before his stock rises to any significant value.

    Pitchers challenge hitters who don't hit for power, probably why he doesn't walk that much. I'm guessing he's a Reed Johnson type with upside.

    Syndergaard, Sanchez and Nicolino in one draft, now if only AA would stop trading them away.

    Not really, DJ Petersen was probably the best college bat available and Shipley was probably the best college arm.

    This is baseball not hockey, AA has only been in since 2009. High schoolers probably take 4-6 years before they crack the bigs.

    Agreed his in game management is some of worst I've ever seen. The Jays pen is just so good it's hard to mess up.

    He's to cowardly, we've been struggling to score runs - we have speed on third base, Boni on deck (our worst hitter) and we're not running on contact. He does so many little things that don't make sense. He's definately not the reason for our bad start, but he's a s*** manager at times.

    Why not move Lawrie to second? If it works out great, if not you can alway's move him back to third.

    Well they have Davis, Rasmus and Melky when he returns. We only need one of them fill in - hopefully they're better options than what we have at 2nd. Although Izturis has started to hit.

    what about Bautista at third? We have enough OF with Pillar, Gose and Sierra.

    Wait until the deadline, when hopefully Detroit are desperate for relief pitchers - this looks like a terrible trade for us.

    That's the beauty of trading relief pitchers, they bring back some quality players for cheap. I wouldn't trade Janssen for anything less than a high ceiling prospect.

    Great news they're making room for Jimenez in AAA. I was disappointed to see Hernandez clogging up the depth chart.

    Look at what we gave up for Dickey and the Shields trade.

    because they were to eager to dump salary, Buerhle, Johnson and Reyes all had good years. They didn't even wait until the winter meetings to make a trade - I bet half the GM's didn't even realize they were available. AA said they initially tried to get Johnson and it just spiralled into the trade it did.
