    Maybe another way of looking at the RedSox "control" of Pomeranz for the next 2.5 yrs is with his suspect health, they could just be pissing away that money for 2.5 yrs.

    I suspect the Dickey haters would be less so if Thole wasn't part of the "Dickey Package". If Dickey is back maybe it's time to really consider trying AJ Jimenez in the back-up role after this season

    IMHO....what the last year has shown Rogers is that to make money....you gotta spend money (aka a contending product on the field). No more taking ques from the Maple Leafs and their fans!

    If Carrrera was ever claimed by the Yanks or BoSox it would be a major coup for the Jays. Not only an addition by subtraction but EC could actually be more valuable to the Jays playing for another AL East team!

    We had family in Ferndale and Silvery Heights Michigan and this was the same advice they had since the 50's! I remember as a kid back in the 60's getting into my uncles car to go somewhere and as we were backing out of his driveway he remembered he forgot something. He made everyone get out of the car and go back into the house with him for about 5 seconds He refused to leave anyone in a stopped car, even in his driveway. AMERICA...HOME OF THE BRAVE! We have the Aug Cleveland roadtrip planned for about 20 of us.

    I absolutely cringe with the thought that Carrera makes this team. I hate seeing needless showboating dives on routine flyballs!

    One aspect of the change-ups that is never discussed is the time between the pitches. If a change-up is delivered in a shorter period of time from the previous pitch the change-up is more affective.

    Kevin Pillar will draw 10 walks this season. I'll take my grandson to Jays home game and will need to take at least $300 for concessions stand 2 hot dogs and drinks and still wont have enough money.

    Medical marijuana can be smoked anywhere....... I'm sure more than a few ppl will squeeze a prescription out of the theirs doctors needed or not. Besides my quip was made more in jest than anything.

    Was it a great move?...No Was it a good move?...No Was it a bad move?...No Was it a necessary move?....YES! Therefore I voted yes. and soooo much for the whining and complaining by some players of the difficulty of living in a foreign country and having to go through customs all the time.

    Not sure if either have any real claim to the starting job. As much as I like Travis and his productive 5 week MLB career it's still just 5 weeks at the start of the season.

    I guess I really have the opposite view on Tim and Sid. I find them extremely irritating to listen to. But that's just me. From what I hear they are getting great numbers. The one person I do enjoy listening to is Scott McArthur of TSN.
