Hurl has stated several times that he just loves the way the Rays run their organization. If the Jays ran their organization the way the Rays do (prospect development, team friendly extensions to youthful players, trade when they become expensive to replenish the farm) I'm sure he would love the way the Jays run it. The Rays have accomplished so much with so little, and you have to admire that as a baseball fan.

I don't know. The only thing I could think of in that situation is maybe Daniels might try to get out of Choo's contract by getting Hamilton's shorter one?

I dunno. I can't imagine Choo just because the length of his contract. I would think that if the Angels were trying to get rid of Hamilton it would be more of a salary dump. But what do I know?

I turned the tv off when we were winning 7-1 and I see we only won by 1 run. Same ol' Blue Jays.

It would cause so much of a roster imbalance it would be unreal. Tampa Bay would be all pitchers.

I do have to say I was flabbergasted that there were so many trolls on that site even though the selection process is very restrictive from what I've gathered here. That being said, I don't think Bats should have showboated after his homer. It makes no sense to risk the potential injury to show up another team. It's not just his risk, what if they decide to hit Reyes and he shatters into a million pieces?
