    I thought I remembered someone saying Estrada had a herniated disc when his back flared up in July or whenever that was. I don't think this is new information.

    This is my hope. We have to remember that the last calendar year is the first time since Rogers bought the team that they have been real contenders. If Rogers had any doubts about the fan support for a winning team, those should be eviscerated by now. They see how the fans pack the place and set tv ratings records when the Jays are good. Maybe they'll have more incentive to field a good team.

    If you're talking playoffs, they're not even two games back. They're in a playoff spot, two games up.

    It could be an issue with the thumb or something else. He could be playing hurt. Then again it just might be a slump. He's gotten a lot of pitches down the middle that he's just missed instead of mashing, and there have been some hard hit balls right at fielders.

    I really hope MLB can figure out a way to have more them, because there just aren't enough delays when the game should be exciting.

    Weaver's given up 30 dingers in 138.1 innings this year. Since the ASB batters have OPS'ed 1.030 off him.

    Limiting shifting is dumb and in my opinion not needed. Pitch clock would probably be something you wouldn't notice after a while.
